Ithaca 190.825, Cortland 185.800 [Results]

The host team from Ithaca put up a huge five-point win over in-state and NCGA East rival Cortland after impressing with great routines and almost no major mistakes across all four events in this Valentine’s Day meet. Carolyn Nichols continued to impress on vault and floor, leading the team on both events and winning the floor title with a 9.725 while Baylie Trammell anchored the team’s record-breaking bars rotation with a 9.7 and Nina Bustamente put up a 9.75 to take the title on beam.

For Cortland, bars and beam had some struggle bus routines, but the team was on fire on floor, seeing a pair of 9.6s from Emma Schulz and Bailey Gildemeyer on top of a 9.675 from Rachel Filipski and a 9.7 from Lily Szafrankski to push them over a 48 total. The team also did well on vault, with a 9.7 from Szafranski followed up by a 9.75 from Gildemeyer to win the title, and Ashley Scarantino led the team on bars while Gildemeyer anchored beam with a solid set there.
