10:25 am. Vaquie ARG FX: Double tuck, big bounce back OOB, leg flies up. Double pike with a step. Hit the rest.

Hermans BEL BB: I need her to crush this. Double wolf turn is good. Switch half is lovely. Ughhh, bhs loso, kind of lands it on one foot in a scale which would’ve been a lovely cover but she can’t hold it, falls. 😦 Gets back on and hits the rest, little bounce on the dismount.

Bunagan PHI UB: Stalder to van Leeuwen, ankle separation in her toe half to front giant, way too far on her straddle Jaeger, fall. Double layout with a step.

Lopuszanska POL VT: Kind of rough tsuk layout. 12.6

10:24 am. Sooooo Nina got a 55.564 in the all-around. I might be sobbing.

Axelle gets a 52.074, not bad with the bars fall!

10:22 am. Dominici ARG FX: Tucked full-in, flared and stuck! Lovely arabian double front. High double tuck but she leans forward and kind of bounces a little wildly. Hop back on the double pike. Good girl. 12.333

Mouffok ALG UB: Nice Maloney, connected it, I think to a Pak but I didn’t see, great Jaeger! Stuck the layout dismount.

Brassart BEL BB: Lovely mount. Front aerial, break at the hips and she falls. 😦 Off again after that. Noooooo. Hit the dismount.

10:20 am. Temmami ALG UB: Went into a dead hang at one point, but got it going again. Double tuck to finish. Looks high key depressed. 😦

Janik POL VT: I missed what she did but saw her running out of it, no fall though. Handspring front tuck half for the second is better.

10:18 am. Jurkowska-Kowalska POL VT: Handspring front layout half, a little rough but hit.

Klinckaert BEL BB: Hit the layout mount!! I think I missed something after that. Prob her flight series. Hit her turn. Side somi. Good transverse split half. Solid jump series. Great double pike, chest down but not bad.

Pisos ARG FX: Step back on the double tuck. Second pass is good. Her leaps are great! Solid double full to finish.

13.766 for Nina’s beam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’M EXPLODING.

10:15 am. Tarabini ARG FX: Hope she carries that energy from beam to floor! UGH, sits the double front. 😦 Then sits the double arabian. UGHHHHH. 😦

Derwael BEL BB: Solid bhs loso, lovely choreo. Front aerial, hit another acro skill after that, then a beautiful switch leap to split leap, GOD HER LEAPS ARE MORE THAN PERFECT. Wolf turn has some little bobbles but gets it around. Steingruber dismount, baby hop. NINAAAAAA OH GOD. I’m crying.

Palacios GUA UB: Clear hip to shaposh to bail, a bit messy, toe on to toe shoot, hard fall on her release. Low full-in dismount.

Pihan-Kulesza POL VT: Stumbles her Omelianchik, and then runs out of it down to her hands and knees. 😦

10:13 am. 15.066 for Nina!!!!!!!!!!! THAT’S GONNA BE HARD TO BEAT.

10:10 am. Derwael BEL UB: Time to FREAK OUTTTTT. Nabieva, Derwael-Fenton to Ezhova to Chow to Bhardwaj, perf, clean van Leeuwen, blind full to full-in stuck. AMAZING. I’m basically screaming but she looks so low key, she’s like meh time for beam.

Also shoutout to Julie Meyers, the alternate who is retiring right after worlds. She is right there after every routine to give words of comfort to her teammates. She’s always been a “second choice” option for many teams and hasn’t had the best luck in the big meets she’s attended but her heart is ALWAYS there for the team.

10:06 am. Pisos ARG BB: Loso mount, stumbles but holds it. Solid bhs loso. Front aerial is clean, switch leap, bobble, misses connection to the switch half, but great split on that. Wobble on the side somi. Split leap to side aerial. Hit the dismount. 11.433

Hermans BEL UB: Slow and lovely handstand before her stalder to Chow half, nice, slightest knee bend. Blind change to piked Jaeger, good, Pak is very clean. Van Leewuen, feet a tiny bit flexed, muscles through her giant full, right into the full-in, a little low but happy she got it around, I thought that muscle up in the pirouette would make the dismount impossible. 13.0

10:03 am. Tarabini ARG BB: Remember her crazy solid all-around beam set at Pan Ams? I NEED THAT. Solid punch front pike. Front aerial to front tuck is EXCELLENT. A little low but solid and quick. Great switch side after that, then solid bhs loso. GIRL. Solid double pike!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AYELEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG I’M CRYING that was so great. 13.133

Klinckaert BEL UB: Maloney to Pak, good, van Leeuwen, some leg form stuff but rotated well, blind change to piked Jaeger is low and she falls. 😦 😦 😦 I could see that coming right from the blind change, just went a bit too slow. 😦 Blind full to Tkachev is good. Dismount is a little low, big step forward. Awwww. 12.033

Vihrova LAT FX: Nice double pike to start. Hit the second pass. Some twisted ankles on her double full but good landing. 11.8

10:02 am. Mouffok ALG VT: Whippy Yurchenko layout, step back to control the landing. 12.566

9:59 am. Palacios GUA VT: FTY, looks good in the air, but then just doesn’t get it around quickly enough, deep landing if not a knee drop to the mat.

Deriks BEL UB: I’m sitting right by the Belgian parents for this and we’re right in front of bars and I’m so excited. Chow to Pak, some leg sep but nice flow, ugh, doesn’t get the van Leeuwen quite around and can’t catch it. 😦 Gets it the second time, leg form a bit rough. Toe half to front giant to piked Jaeger. Blind full, short on a blind change after that, double pike stumbled forward. 11.466

Dominici ARG BB: Good jump series. Lovely bhs loso. Super solid double tuck. Hit everything I saw! 12.166

Temmami ALG VT: Crashed her layout tsuk. 😦 9.6

Dubova LAT FX: I didn’t really see any of this unfortunately. 11.166

9:56 am. Al Daoud JOR FX: Switch full to start. Hit her opening pass. Solid 2.5 after that. Tour jeté half. Casual jog into her front handspring front layout. Double full to finish, a little messy but good landing.

Bunagan PHI VT: Good FTY, step back.

Vaquie ARG BB: Good bhs loso. Front aerial, little wobble. 1.5 dismount. Good routine!!

9:51 am. Circene LAT BB: Bhs loso with a stumble and a fall. 😦 Off again on something right after that. Side aerial. Solid gainer tuck dismount. 9.233

Pisos ARG UB: Toe half, ugh, comes off. Does it again, toe half to piked Jaeger, tries for a blind full but comes off halfway through. Back on for Maloney to bail, leg sep, to toe shoot. Blind change to double front, sat it. 😦 😦 😦 Rough. Poor kid.

9:49 am. Pihan-Kulesza POL FX: YAAAAS Pink Panther! SHE’S BACK. 2.5 to front pike then a double arabian to stag, both solid!! Good front double full. Tour jeté full then dances down into her end choreo pose. BLESSSSS. 12.833

9:47 am. Dominici ARG UB: Toe full, Maloney to Pak, some leg sep, clean van Leeuwen, great piked Jaeger, the cool back tuck dismount from a handstand, solid landing. 13.033!

Vihrova LAT BB: Looked really good on her jumps from what I could see, but I think she fell at some point, I could kind of see her remounting from the corner of my eye. Solid double full dismount. 11.166

Some laser gun sounds kept going off during these routines from a training gym so that’s fun.

9:46 am. Jurkowska-Kowalska POL FX: Nice high double tuck, little bounce back. Switch half. Cool choreo out of it. Double full with a little bounce. Clean double L turn. 2.5, some crossed ankles and a step to control it. Solid work. 12.0

9:42 am. Janik POL FX: Tucked full-in, little bounce in place. Switch half. 1.5. Double tuck cowboyed with a hop. 12.0

Klinckaert BEL VT: Another gorgeous FTY. Bounce back. I hope they get those landings in the AA or (hopefully) team finals; they’d all have 13.8s. See? She just goes 13.7. SO GOOD.

Al Daoud JOR BB: Bhs layout, a bit piked with a wobble. Hop on her layout full dismount. I didn’t see all of this but I don’t think she fell. 9.833, oh maybe she did fall, just 5.633 E.

Tarabini ARG UB: Caught her release, bail to toe shoot, blind full to blind change to front giant to double front, little step. 12.133

9:39 am. Lopuszanska POL FX: Creative choreo at the opening, love. Double pike with a bounce back. Really nice leap series after that. Switch half before her third pass. I didn’t see what her last two passes were but she hit both. 11.466

Deriks BEL VT: Big FTY with a bounce back.

Dubova LAT BB: Dominique Moceanu opening!!!!!!!!!! YAAAAAS GET IT I LIVE. Wobbly before her wolf turn, does a full and then a half I think. Off on her flight series. Front layout dismount with a step. 9.866

Derwael BEL VT: Huge FTY, very clean, bounce back. 13.466

Klesa ARG UB: Nice Ray at the start. Muscles through a front giant, blind full, double pike with a tiny step. Some little things in there but otherwise solid.

Brassart BEL VT: Another excellent FTY with a hop back. They might not have a ton of difficulty on vault but ALL of the Belgians look so great in the air. 13.566

9:33 am. Temmami ALG FX: Sat her double pike at the start. 😦 Double tuck with a bounce. Front layout to Rudi, some form stuff, but good landing. 9.866

Pihan-Kulesza POL BB: Side aerial, back tuck, hit a combo after that and then I believe a transverse jump, I’m a bit blocked on beam by a camera crane but looked hit to me. Tour jeté half to split jump YAAAAAAS so nice. So well-connected. Gainer full off the end with a hop. 13.1!!!

Since scores aren’t working for y’all I’m going to try to record what I can.

Ayelen Tarabini just tried to sneak-climb onto the bars podium before this subdivision is over LOL.

9:29 am. Al Daoud JOR UB: Blind change to front giant half, toe full to Gienger, NICE. Step on the double pike. 11.408

Vaquie ARG VT: FTY, clean with a little bounce.

Jurkowska-Kowalska POL BB: Front toss to back handspring, getting dat NCAA life in here. Side aerial, switch leap. Clean side somi. Full L turn. Here we goooo! YAS!!!! Hit the gainer double full! The Katarzyna-Jurkowska is a thing and my fingers are so sad about typing it for any future gymnast who competes it. 12.366

Palacios GUA FX: Arabian double front, big step forward OOB. Good landing on her second pass. Solid double pike. Double tuck to finish, just a bounce. 11.966

Dominici ARG VT: Tsuk full, solid! The landing could be better, she was a little sideways, but it was lovely in the air. 13.466

9:26 am. Vihrova LAT UB: SO happy she’s here. Clear hip to blind full, lovely straddle Jaeger, bail is clean, to toe-on to toe shoot, double pike with a step. Fantastic job! This is pretty much her senior debut! She did bars at Latvian Championships but has been injured for much of the past year. 11.9 (4.4 D, 7.5 E)

Janik POL BB: Hit her flight series with a check. Hit her punch front. Solid jumps, split leap to side somi is nice. Switch leap. Bounce on the dismount.

Bunagan PHI FX: Hit her opening pass. 2.5 to front tuck. Double tuck. Showing strong artistry here. Double full with some leg issues and a step. Great comeback from beam!!

Tarabini ARG VT: Second vault is a handspring pike half with a step. A bit cleaner than the tsuk.

9:25 am. Pisos ARG VT: Hit her FTY.

Tarabini ARG VT: Tsuk full with a bounce back, some leg form issue in the air.

9:22 am. Mouffok ALG FX: Wrong music. Really emotional in her choreo at the beginning, you can always spot a French girl on floor. Good double pike to start, bounce back. Step forward on the 1.5 to front tuck. Form is a little weak in her double full but landed it well.

Lopuszanska POL BB: Just a hop on for her mount. Nice job on her bhs loso, just a step back out of it. Straight full transverse jump, fall. 😦 Off again after that and then put her hands down on her wolf turn. Tuck full dismount. Well, I’m excited Poland has a new kid coming up. Their juniors never transition so I’m just happy she made this team. She’ll get better with time!

Dubova LAT UB: Pak, some form issues, hecht to high, hit the dismount. Not much in there but she got through.

9:19 am. 13.166 for Axelle, brings them to a 39.265 team total so far.

9:16 am. Palacios GUA BB: Bhs loso, some soft knees, switch leap to side aerial, wobble and break at the hips but saves it. Side aerial, wobble, front aerial, split jump to straddle jump. Switch side. Transverse split jump half is nice. Double full with a hop back. Good fight!

9:15 am. A 13.266 for Nina!

Klinckaert BEL FX: Memmel turn, then a switch full into the corner. Beautiful double layout, little hop back. Front tuck through to double tuck, little bounce. Switch to tour jeté full. Choreo time and GOD I LOVE HER. Piked full-in, a little buckled on the landing but not too bad. Solid double pike. GOOD GIRL.

Jurkowska-Kowalska POL UB: Maloney to bail to clear hip to toe shoot. Blind full, hit the rest, just a step on the dismount.

9:12 pm. Derwael BEL FX: Switch full into the corner. 1.5 to front full with a little bounce. Selling the choreo like a CHAMP. Good double tuck. I think I somehow missed her first pass? But a gorgeous routine, tons of applause from the Belgians.

Bunagan PHI BB: Off on her switch half, doesn’t get her hips around. Off again on her bhs loso loso. Double full dismount with a step. Bummer of a start for her. 😦

Pihan-Kulesza POL UB: Legs came apart on a full pirouette and she has to regroup but she doesn’t come off. Pak, some leg sep on the piked Jaeger. Hit the dismount.

Al Daoud JOR VT: Clean FTY, chest just down a bit on the landing. Second vault is a tsuk layout, a little whippy and short, step forward.

9:11 am. Vihrova LAT VT: Yurchenko layout for her second vault, good landing.

9:08 am. Hermans BEL FX: Front attitude double spin, then opens with a double tuck. 1.5 to front full, some soft knees. Clean double full. Good work, she’s not at full strength after an injury but should be happy with that.

Mouffok ALG BB: Off on her punch front mount. Good work on her bhs loso. Front aerial, hit the rest, just a layout dismount.

Vihrova LAT VT: Handspring front pike with a hop.

Janik POL UB: Maloney to bail, toe full to toe shoot, caught her Gienger, front giant to double front, little bobble on the landing but good set for her.

9:07 am. Dubova LAT VT: Tsuk back pike, a step back. Not super powerful but gets through it.

I missed the Syrian gymnast Areej Al Khayat on vault, only had like a 2.0 D but good for her getting out here.

9:05 am. Brassart BEL FX: Wolf turn to start. Good leap into the corner. Piked full-in with a little bounce. Did something through to a double tuck, then hit her leap pass.BIRD TIME. God I love her. Solid double pike. Fab job.

Temmami ALG BB: Front aerial, bobble, switch to sissone, little bobble. Clean side somi. Knees are soft on her bhs loso, wobble on something after that. Hit the dismount, a gainer tuck full off the end I think.

Lopuszanska POL UB: Maloney to bail a little short, blind full, blind change to straddle Jaeger, blind change to front giant front layout dismount.
