4:31 pm. Rebeca Andrade BRA FX: 1.5 through to full-in, kind of iffy on the landing, big step to control herself. Full-twisting double layout, another kind of wild landing. Double layout was good, and she does a double pike to finish, chest forward but stuck! 13.900

Laura Casabuena ESP UB: 13.133

4:27 pm. Flavia Saraiva BRA FX: Chest down on the tuck full-in, but otherwise got it! Double tuck with a bounce back OOB. Again couldn’t type for a few but she hit everything I saw! Ugh, that hop OOB got her. 13.166

4:23 pm. Kate McDonald AUS BB: 13.033

4:20 pm. Julia Soares BRA FX: Arabian double front was absolutely FANTASTIC. That landing!! Tucked full-in, also fantastic. Switch ring to tour jeté half. Double tuck, some leg form in the second flip that was especially noticeable. Good landing again. Triple wolf turn. Double pike, a bit low in the set but pulls it around without issue! Brilliant. 13.500

11. France 116.164
12. South Korea 114.964

4:10 pm. Rebeca Andrade BRA BB: Hit the mount. Switch leap to switch half to split jump, lovely. Nailed the flight series. Front aerial to split ring jump to back handspring, great. Switch ring. Double pike, small hop! This was excellent. 14.500!!!!!!!!

That puts her in third place!

4:06 pm. Flavia Saraiva BRA BB: Gorgeous bhs loso loso! Switch ring, beautiful, but a minor stumble on the landing. Front aerial to split ring jump to back handspring. Nice connections. Side somi. Switch leap, splits the beam and falls onto it. WHY GOD WHY. Wolf jump, kind of half-hearted there. Does a secondary jump series. Double pike with a step back. She’s laughing at least. 13.133

Emma Nedov AUS UB: 12.766

Jana Mahmoud EGY FX: 12.366

4:05 pm. Alba Petisco ESP VT: 13.466

Ruby Pass AUS UB: 13.900

4:02 pm. Jade Barbosa BRA BB: Hit the layout mount, wobbled through it though. Layout series with a wobble as well, leg up but good fight. Switch side. Wasn’t typing for a sec but everything I saw during my momentary lapse went well! Double pike was great! Tiny bounce in place. 13.100

Laura Casabuena ESP VT: 13.066

Emily Whitehead AUS UB: 12.333

4:00 pm. Maellyse Brassart BEL VT: 13.300

3:58 pm. Julia Soares BRA BB: Candle mount with a half turn to catch, nice, also did lovely work with the wolf turn. Bhs loso was super solid. Front aerial to split jump to back tuck, little stumble but overall so nice and her connections were fabulous. Switch leap slow to the switch half. Jump series went well. Double pike, a bit low but not too bad, got the landing nicely! 13.800!

Maellyse Brassart BEL FX: 12.533

3:48 pm. Rebeca Andrade BRA UB: Maloney to stalder full to piked Tkachev to Pak, gorgeous. Van Leeuwen is very clean. But nearly went over the wrong way on the subsequent handstand, arched SO FAR over, had to muscle through, saved it! Got the Jaeger, toe full hips weren’t great, but gets it into a solid full-in dismount. 14.400

That score puts her in ninth place and out of the final!

3:47 pm. Ruby Pass AUS VT: 13.800

Ting Hua-Tien TWN BB: 12.533

3:45 pm. Flavia Saraiva BRA UB: Toe full to piked Tkachev to Pak, good! Toe-on to Maloney, some leg separation, to Gienger, good. Blind change to front giant to double front, step back, great routine! 13.800

3:43 pm. Emma Nedov AUS VT: 13.200

Ana Perez ESP FX: 12.866

3:42 pm. Jade Barbosa BRA UB: Toe full to toe-on to Chow to mixed grip to Ezhova, Maloney to Tkachev, hit her foot while catching but it didn’t rattle her, keeps going, stalder, double layout dismount, stumbles it back. 12.733

Emily Whitehead AUS VT: 13.600

3:40 pm. Lorrane Oliveira BRA UB: Maloney to Pak, clean. Toe-on to van Leeuwen, blind change to front full, a little late, to piked Jaeger, blind change to front giant to double front, some cowboy and a big step back. 13.233

Lili Czifra HUN BB: 13.233

3:39 pm. Laura Casabuena ESP FX: Piked full-in, small hop back. Front through to double tuck was good. Good leap series. Double pike strong! Chest a bit low. 13.033

3:32 pm. Rotation 1 Standings

1. Brazil 42.733
2. United States 42.366
3. Canada 42.133
4. Great Britain 41.966
5. Italy 40.833
6. Romania 40.799
7. Japan 40.432
8. China 40.099
9. France 38.466
10. Australia 37.932
11. South Korea 37.366
12. Netherlands 37.099

3:31 pm. Kate McDonald AUS FX: 12.100

Maellyse Brassart BEL BB: 11.600

3:29 pm. Ruby Pass AUS FX: Excellent arabian double front! That landing. Full-in with a hop back. Hit the last two passes. Doesn’t look thrilled, I wasn’t paying super close attention but nothing looked dramatically wrong. Maybe just tired. 12.866

3:27 pm. Nina Derwael BEL BB: Off on the layout stepout mount. Nailed the acro series. Switch to split leap. Front aerial to split ring jump, back foot wasn’t quite there. Triple wolf turn got a bit wonky near the end but she finished it. Gainer full dismount, small step. 12.766

Jana Mahmoud EGY UB: 11.066

Alba Petisco ESP BB: 12.633

Ana Perez ESP BB: 11.800

3:19 pm. Rebeca Andrade BRA VT: Cheng, it’s massive and gorgeous, just a small step back OOB. 14.900

Yurchenko double full for the second vault, MASSIVE, absolutely massive. SO CLEAN. Oh my god. Flared. Hop back. Averages a 14.683 for second place going into the vault final!

Emma Nedov AUS FX: 12.333

3:17 pm. Flavia Saraiva BRA VT: Yurchenko double full, some knee form in the air that was noticeable but as a whole and on the landing this was the best in the rotation so far, a step was really the only landing deduction, it was small. 14.100

Zoja Szekely HUN UB: Shaposh to Pak, Maloney to Gienger, blind change to piked Jaeger, toe full to full-in with a lunge to the side, she looks like she’s going to cry out of happiness, ZOJAAAAAA!!! 13.433

Laura Casabuena ESP BB: 12.166

3:15 pm. Jade Barbosa BRA VT: Yurchenko double full, a bit low on the landing so she has to compensate with a deep finish and a large step, but execution faults in the air were pretty minor. 13.733

Lili Czifra HUN UB: 13.933

Emily Whitehead AUS FX: 12.733

3:14 pm. Lorrane Oliveira BRA VT: Yurchenko full, not super tight in the air, takes a step back, not bad but nothing they’ll want to count. 12.900

3:13 pm. Apologies in advance because I think Peacock is basically ONLY going to show Brazil…I mean, I want to see them, but I’d also like some variety!

3:12 pm. This subdivision will feature…

Teams: Australia, Brazil

Individuals: Belgium, Egypt, Hungary, Spain, Taiwan

3:10 pm. Okay, who is ready for the FINAL SUBDIVISION?!

  1. i guess romania qualified to

he finals? Australia needs average of 13.5 to get over them on beam, dosent look like its happening,

  2. So biggest disappointment by far is Flavia who bombed both beam and floor and whose scores were discarded on both. It will be interesting to see whether they will use her for team finals.
