The gymnastics competition at this year’s Commonwealth Games begin in Glasgow, Scotland this Friday, and we’ve got everything you need to follow along, including the complete athlete rosters, full schedule, and links for following along via live scores and streams.

What’s at Stake?

Held every four years, the Commonwealth Games are a multi-sport event that bring together athletes from across the Commonwealth of Nations (a political association comprising the majority of former territories of the British Empire). As with most major Games, gymnasts compete for team, all-around, and apparatus medals across several days of action, with the first day of competition serving as both the team final and the qualifier for individual finals, which will be held over the next few days.

England, Canada, Australia, and Wales are typically the standout programs to follow here, with England the reigning team champions for both WAG and MAG in 2022. Host team Scotland will have some stellar performers this year, with Crystelle Lake and Reuben Ward especially exciting, and and we’ll also get to see the debut of former U.S. elite and current UCLA star Tiana Sumanasekera for Sri Lanka – due to injury, she’ll only compete beam in Glasgow, but if she does what she’s capable of, she could be a real medal contender there.

How Can We Follow Along?

The Glasgow 2026 website will have live scores linked to each session once the competition begins. I’ve linked to the schedule overview for gymnastics, where you’ll be able to click through each day to see which events are held, which is where the live scores will appear once the sessions are active.

Broadcasting varies regionally. Major streaming services include TNT Sports in the UK, CBC Sports in Canada, and 7plus in Australia. You can likely stream outside of these areas using a VPN! I’ve also seen that beIN Sports will be available in the United States, though there may be a subscription fee. I’ll update this section once it gets closer and have been able to test out various options in the lead-up to gymnastics starting!
