SUBDIVISION 3 | ROTATION 6

4:28 pm. Tru Hagens AUS PH: Really lovely at the beginning but off on the Busnari! Moves into flairs which are incredible. The rest goes very well, very aggressive, minor flaw in the dismount. But I think even with the fall this was MORE than enough to keep Australia afloat!!

4:26 pm. Connor Sullivan SCO HB: Tak half with some leg separation, gets the Cassina, Kolman, yessss! Stalder, full-twisting double layout with a step back. WOW, this will be close I think??? Between SCO and AUS I mean!

4:25 pm. Ethan Ikeda CAN FX: Sat the front full to double front. Nice piked double front. Clean double full. Clean double pike to finish.

4:23 pm. Reuben Ward SCO HB: Tak half, beautiful extension in his swing, or is he just tall? Liukin, YES! Straddle Tkachev to Gienger to Endo half, omfg. Inbar, double double layout with a hop. I’m screaming!!

4:21 pm. William Émard CAN FX: Front full to double front and double double, hopped back into a step OOB. Strong triple full down the side. 2.5 to front layout. Full-in with a hop back. Another massive set for Canada! 12.350 (he had 0.6 in ND lol)

4:20 pm. Jesse Moore AUS PH: I wasn’t typing BUT this was a great set from start ALMOST to finish, lost his rhythm EVER so slightly during the dismount but he makes it through!

4:18 pm. Hamish Carter SCO HB: Kolman and Kovacs both fab, stalder, Quast, full-twisting double layout stuck cold!

4:16 pm. Félix Dolci CAN FX: Great piked double front! 2.5 to double front, amazing! Think he had a triple full down the side. Double double with a step forward. Clean double pike to finish. BEAUTIFUL routine. 13.700!

4:15 pm. Cameron Lynn SCO HB: Tak half connected to a Kovacs, woo! Caught another release and hit a double double layout, nailed the landing! 13.500

4:13 pm. René Cournoyer CAN FX: Front full to double front, front double full to front layout, both really nice. I had to stop quick hitting for a second but think this was a fully hit routine! 13.500

4:11 pm. Right now, it’s England with a 238.250, Cyprus with a 228.350, and Wales with a 227.000.

Canada will need to average 12.133 per routine on floor to take the lead.

4:09 pm. Touch for the second half of the final rotation!

4:08 pm. Jacob Edwards WAL FX: Front full to double front, big step forward OOB. Piked double front. Double full down the side is good. Clean piked arabian double front! Ooh. 2.5 with a step forward. Stuck the arabian double front at the end!

4:07 pm. Adam Tobin ENG HB: Tak half, Kolman goes well, Kovacs also! Layout Tkachev, straddle Tkachev, Rybalko, love that, step back on the dismount. Amazing finish for England after a devastating start to this rotation.

4:03 pm. Henry Lewis WAL FX: Strong double layout to start! Piked double front, strong, big hop forward. Randi down the side with a big hop back OOB. Front double full to front layout with a hop. 2.5 with a step. Clean stuck double tuck to finish!

4:02 pm. Marios Georgiou CYP PH: Scissors, Sohn, nice! Single pommel goes really well, travels nicely, lovely transition into the dismount! Fab routine.

4:00 pm. Alexander Niscoveanu WAL FX: Big punch into a randi down the side, lands OOB. Double front is nice. Double double is a little low in the air but landed well! 2.5 to front layout, minor form in the latter. Double full down the side is a bit short. Solid arabian double front half to finish. 12.150

3:58 pm. Alexander Yolshin-Cash ENG HB: Tak half, nice Kovacs, straddle Tkachev, German giants to stalder, inbar, double double layout with a hop forward. Good work!

3:57 pm. Elliot Vernon WAL FX: Piked double front, love his arm technique as he opens into the randi! Beautiful double full side pass. Hands down on his triple full. Beautiful, clean, stuck double pike!

3:55 pm. Luke Whitehouse ENG HB: Tak half a bit short, layout Tkachev, Kovacs, stalder, double double layout, lands it far back on his heels and sits it. Ugh, but I cannot imagine competing under these circumstances right now. 11.700

3:54 pm. Okay, Langton has been taken out of the arena by the medical staff and the competition will resume shortly. Athletes have another opportunity to warm up since it’s been ~20 minutes since their last touch.

It feels horrible moving back to the sport after this but that’s how it goes. I guess all I can say is that all of my thoughts are with Langton, his teammates, his family, everyone…but I think especially his teammates who now have to compete on high bar after seeing that horrific fall.

3:44 pm. They stopped all action in the arena so the medical staff can focus on Langton. According to someone in the arena, he’s moving his legs and is conscious. I think that’s one of the worst falls I’ve ever seen while watching live and I never want to see it or anything like it again.

3:40 pm. Gabriel Langton ENG HB: Oh my god he did a Tak and slipped, landing directly on the top of his head, I feel like I’m going to be sick. That was very upsetting.

3:36 pm. Moving into the final rotation!

SUBDIVISION 3 | ROTATION 5

Team standings going into the final rotation…

1. Canada 201.850
2. England 200.200

4. Scotland 194.750
5. Cyprus 192.450
6. Wales 189.700

3:34 pm. Félix Dolci CAN HB: Tak full is lovely, Tak half with minor leg separation but gets it to Kolman, layout Tkachev, good Cassina, straddle Tkachev, whew! Sticks the double double layout dismount! 14.250!

That moves him to first place.

3:31 pm. Jesse Moore AUS FX: Front full to front double pike, step back. Front double full, supposed to punch out of it and ends up short, has to tuck but still lands to his back, oh no! 2.5 to front layout down the side. Arabian double front half to finish.

I need to see Félix Dolci’s HB or I’m going to SCREAM.

3:29 pm. Cameron Lynn SCO PB: Clear hip, front flip to handstand, Makuts goes pretty well, straddle front, Tippelt is strong, clean double pike!

3:38 pm. James Hardy AUS FX: Great front layout full to double front. Piked double front with a hop forward. Hit the side pass. Someone on the side saying “Come on Jimmy Boy” lol. 2.5 to front layout is good. Arabian double front with a bit of a wild landing but not that bad! Good set. 13.150

3:26 pm. René Cournoyer CAN HB: Tak half with leg sep but gets it right into the layout Tkachev, straddle Tkachev nice as well, nice Tak full and Zou Li Min, NOOOO, then falls on the Yamawaki of all things I’m gonna cry. Does it again but catches one-handed and takes an extra swing. PLEASE. Double double layout dismount with a hop. 11.550

3:24 pm. Ritam Malik AUS FX: Front double full to front full, hop forward OOB. 2.5 to front layout with minor form and a hop. Nice double front down the side. Super fast in his Russians! Double pike with a hop back. Great! 12.650

3:22 pm. William Émard CAN HB: Tak half full almost goes awry but does NOT! Tak half, good Kolman, big clean Kovacs, stalder, stuck the double double layout dismount! WELL.

3:21 pm. Benjamin Foster AUS FX: Went OOB on the first pass but hit a nice 2.5 to front layout after. Double full down the side is nice. Strong front double full. Clean double tuck! 12.550

3:19 pm. Ethan Ikeda CAN HB: Tak half, Kolman with weak legs on the catch, and he can’t hold on, jumps off. Big straddle Tkachev, German giants to stalder, double double layout dismount, hands down. Bummer. 10.950

3:16 pm. Touch for the second half!

3:13 pm. Neofytos Kyriakou CYP FX: Great front layout to double front. Double double is excellent! Triple full is mildly short, step forward. 2.5 to front tuck down to prone! Cool. Double full down the side. Arabesque scale. Clean double pike. 12.400

3:10 pm. Marios Georgiou CYP FX: Front full to double front, really strong. Small hop back on the front double full. 2.5 to front layout. Haha, he had a weird stumble getting into his Y scale. Lord. Clean double pike! 13.200

3:09 pm. Jacob Edwards WAL HB: Ooh, he’s from Wrexham! That’s cool. I do NOT follow football but I do love a good sports doc and you can bet I’ve loved every episode of “Welcome to Wrexham.” Endo, straddle Tkachev, stalder, clean full-twisting double layout with some steps back. 11.900

3:07 pm. Alexander Yolshin-Cash ENG PB: Easy through the beginning, little pause in the Makuts, half turn out, then a full pirouette followed by a 1.5, moves so smoothly through all of them. Gets the dismount with a solid landing. Great recovery after a sad pommel horse set.

3:05 pm. Alexander Niscoveanu WAL HB: Okay, here we go with Wales again! Gets the Kolman, very nice, Tak full was pretty good, Tak half is even better, inbar to stalder, sticks the double double layout! Fantastic. 13.200

3:04 pm. Adam Tobin ENG PB: Tucked barani goes well, Makuts with a pause on the single rail, Healy is good, straddle front as well, Diamidov, stuck the double front! Lovely! 13.800

They definitely gave up on showing Wales at all lol.

3:02 pm. Gabriel Langton ENG PB: Underswing half, double back, great! Front pike can’t get to handstand, tucks his legs and has to push back up. Oof. A little stuck in the Makuts after as well. Stutz, double front with a hop.

3:00 pm. Georgios Angonas CYP FX: Front double full to front tuck, was supposed to do a layout but can’t get it around. Then sits the double front. Back layout down the side. Ends with a double full, which felt kinda like a mistake, idk? 10.750

2:59 pm. Luke Whitehouse ENG PB: Had a crazy short handstand that he somehow was able to hold up despite being super short AND then press to handstand? Everything else I think went well! 12.900

2:55 pm. Moving into the fifth rotation touch warmups now!

SUBDIVISION 3 | ROTATION 4

2:54 pm. Team standings after four rotations…

1. Canada 162.550
2. England 159.400
3. Australia 157.300
4. Cyprus 156.050
5. Scotland 155.100
6. Wales 151.900

2:52 pm. René Cournoyer CAN PB: Wasn’t typing but he hit everything well! Lovely Tippelt and double front.

2:51 pm. Jesse Moore AUS HB: Tak half to stalder layout Tkachev to Gienger to front stalder, amazing! Also gets the Kolman, layout Tkachev, NAUUUUR, he can’t catch that one. I’m devo. Back on for a Quast and double double layout dismount. 12.650

2:49 pm. Félix Dolci CAN PB: Double back goes super well. Underswing to half turn with some minor form. Big straddle front. Adjustments out of the half turn, takes a second to get to handstand. Double front half dismount I assume?? I missed the entry. But landed it well. 13.550

2:48 pm. Cameron Lynn SCO VT: Kas 1.5, some form in the air but nearly sticks it!! Comes down like a dart on that. Just slightly moves his feet with a balance check. 13.650

2:47 pm. Ritam Malik AUS HB: Tak half was great! Huge Kolman. Layout Tkachev also done well. Straddle Tkachev is a bit close but gets it around. Quast. Dismounts with a double double layout, stuck! So so so good! 13.450

2:45 pm. William Émard CAN PB: Clear hip mount, half turn, giant to barani salto, front pike to handstand, Healy out was so nice! Big straddle front, he’s cooking. Nearly stuck the double front. Legend! 13.650

2:44 pm. Benjamin Foster AUS HB: Oh wow, off on the Quast of all things. WELP. That was so weird. Looks at his hands after like wtf. On the replay he catches the Quast on his fingertips and has no palms around it at all. Crazy tbh. Back on and repeats it easily, then catches the Tkachev. Stalder, one-arm giant to front stalder, and hits the dismount with a step.

2:42 pm. Hamish Carter SCO VT: Kas full, looks like he wants to keep rotating on the landing but he just takes a big step back to stop it. Great start! 13.350

2:41 pm. James Hardy AUS HB: Yamawaki, Tak half, layout Tkachev, stalder, double double layout with a hop. Excellent start for the Australians on this apparatus! 12.350

2:38 pm. Touch for the second half is underway!

2:36 pm. Neofytos Kyriakou CYP HB: Tak full to Tak half, messy legs on the Kolman but catches, stadler to straddle Tkachev, kinda messed up after the catch but brings it back together, stalder, full-twisting double layout dismount.

2:35 pm. Joe Cemlyn-Jones WAL PB: Some leg separation after the underswing to half turn, tucked barani goes well as does the straddle front, Healy to half turn, moves his hands a bit after, double front dismount with a step. 12.600

2:32 pm. Marios Georgiou CYP HB: Hit the Tak full and Tak half at the beginning, massive gorgeous Cassina and Kolman! Inbar to stalder, Quast, lovely full-twisting double layout dismount with a tiny hop. 13.750

That moves him to first place!

2:30 pm. Luke Whitehouse ENG VT: Excellent Dragulescu! The chest position was kinda fire. A little lower in the replay than in my original brain’s picture but I’ll let him have it. Big step back but otherwise so fab. 14.150

Also excellent on the Kas 1.5. So powerful, great in the air until the very last half when he tucks his knees a bit, solid landing. 13.850

2:29 pm. I just got an ad so am missing a couple things I think!

2:28 pm. Georgios Angonas CYP HB: tak full was super late, finished almost under the bar, Tak half was better, layout Tkachev was a bit close, Quast, one-arm giant, stalder, double double layout with a big lunge forward. 11.900

2:27 pm. Joshua Nathan ENG VT: Solid Kas full!

2:25 pm. Kyriakos Markidis CYP HB: I wasn’t watching this super closely but know he had a fall. Stuck the double double layout dismount with a lil arm wobble. 10.350

2:19 pm. Halfway through the final subdivision! Let’s gooooo!

SUBDIVISION 3 | ROTATION 3

2:18 pm. Jesse Moore AUS PB: Great opening, hit all of the pirouettes without error, handstands look so tight and clean, good Makuts, Diamidov to Stutz at the end before the double front, hop back. Excellent set!

2:17 pm. Cameron Lynn SCO SR: Iron cross. Pike sit, press to handstand, saltos to handstand, really nice position and gets there quickly. Back giant to handstand also good. Triple back, sits it, NOOOO!

2:16 pm. Ethan Ikeda CAN VT: Kas full, not bad!

2:14 pm. Ritam Malik AUS PB: Really gorgeous press to handstand! Holds it forever. Whole opening sequence was gorgeous, lovely pirouettes, Diamidov and Stutz at the end both strong, but then he overrotates and sits the double pike. UGH, that was so perfect at the start. 11.950

2:13 pm. Félix Dolci CAN VT: Handspring double front half, excellent on the landing! Chest down a bit. Small hop back. Think this was his second vault? I didn’t see the first! 14.200

His first vault got a 14.000. I’d guess Kas 1.5.

2:12 pm. James Hardy AUS PB: Wasn’t typing at the beginning but all looked good, Tippelt was mostly clean, maybe some arch over after, good on the Stutz and lands the double pike super well. 12.850

2:10 pm. Reuben Ward SCO SR: Saltos with a slight adjustment into the pike sit. Arches over on the handstand after, same on the back giant to handstand, has to pull that back a bit. Double double stuck! 12.300

2:09 pm. René Cournoyer CAN VT: Handspring double front, maybe slightly deep in the landing but actually I think more absorb-y than problematic! It was great. Strong chest position. Tiny hop. 13.850

2:07 pm. Hamish Carter SCO SR: Maltese is clean, swings through to planche, down to iron cross, excellent! Saltos to handstand, arches over a bit and has to pull back, also arched a bit on the giant to handstand, NOOOOO, then sits the double double dismount, devastating. 11.700

2:05 pm. Touch for the second half of this rotation!

2:03 pm. Georgios Angonas CYP PB: Front flip to clean handstand, clean full pirouette, walked a bit out of the 1.5, clean double pike dismount with a great landing. 13.200

2:01 pm. Adam Tobin ENG SR: Maltese through to iron cross, lovely. Another iron cross, then saltos up to handstand, VERY smooth. Stuck the double double! Fabulous set. 13.400

Marios Georgiou CYP PB: I missed this but he scored a 13.800!

1:58 pm. Henry Lewis WAL VT: Went for a Dragulescu, but didn’t quite have the block he needed and crashed on his hands and knees. His feet did touch the mat, at least! It was pretty close to not getting there. 12.900

Kas 1.5 was much better. Very powerful, clean, and solid on the landing. 13.400

1:54 pm. Joshua Nathan ENG SR: Wasn’t typing but no major mistakes here and think he stuck the dismount! 12.250

1:53 pm. Elliot Vernon WAL VT: Kas full, minor form in the air, lunge back on the landing.

1:52 pm. Neofytos Kyriakou CYP PB: Mounted with a cast on the single rail and had some form there but fun mount. Diamidov was really nice, everything else moves well, double pike with a big step back. 11.150

1:50 pm. Gabriel Langton ENG SR: Pike sit with a roll through to his saltos up to handstand, some adjustment to get there. Back giant to handstand has another slight adjustment. Gets the double double dismount around with his chest down. 12.800

1:46 pm. Touch warmups underway for the third rotation!

SUBDIVISION 3 | ROTATION 2

1:45 pm. William Émard CAN SR: I wasn’t typing at the beginning but everything I saw was superb. Saltos to handstand went so perfectly. Double double with a small hop back. That’ll be a great score. 13.850

That gives him the lead there!

1:41 pm. James Hardy AUS VT: Handspring double front, another excellent position on that landing! Takes a big step forward and OOB but great overall. 13.750

Second vault is a Kas 1.5, another excellent run! Big hop forward but also super powerful and strong in the air.

1:40 pm. Reuben Ward SCO PH: Ooh, excited for this! Scissors to circles on the single pommel, then Russians on the pommel, super nice, back to cirlces, he stays on that one pommel for hours, travels well, good extension, then travels in Russians, maybe a little rushed on the backwards but nothing severe, brilliant up into the dismount! Excellent! 14.550!

That matches Carroll’s score, and he wins on the tie-break thanks to his execution!

1:38 pm. Félix Dolci CAN SR: Maltese, then swings through to another nice maltese. Swing up to planche, maybe some hip angle there but really high and held super long, saltos to handstand, swinging slightly, back giant through to the dismount, double-twisting double layout, step back on the landing.

1:37 pm. Jesse Moore AUS VT: BRILLIANT handspring double front! Excellent positioning on the landing, just a tiny hop. 13.900

1:36 pm. Hamish Carter SCO PH: Scissors to circles, loses some leg form at a moment but he slowly and steadily fights through it, travels in Russians, then back and forth in circles, lovely push up into the dismount! 12.650

1:35 pm. René Cournoyer CAN SR: Again wasn’t typing but this was a fab routine, step back on the double double dismount but really strong overall!

1:34 pm. Benjamin Foster AUS VT: Tsuk full, really lovely in the air and flares it on the landing, big hop forward. 12.500

1:33 pm. Ethan Ikeda CAN SR: Wasn’t typing for this but I think all went well based on what I saw, stuck the double double dismount!

1:31 pm. I think it’s the halfway point touch!

1:30 pm. Elliot Vernon WAL SR: Iron cross, pike sit through to saltos up to handstand, adjusts a bit, piked double front, stuck!

1:28 pm. Kyriakos Markidis CYP VT: Strong Kas 1.5 to start. 13.850

Second vault is a Yurchenko double full, a bit wild in the air near the end and bounces on the landing. Looked almost lock-legged on the landing but seems okay. 13.150

1:25 pm. Alexander Yolshin-Cash ENG PH: Scissors to clean circles and then Russians on the single pommels, GOOORGEOUS extension. Travels in Russians and then circles, but then randomly flies off the end, honestly didn’t even seem like anything was wrong?! It didn’t even look like his rhythm was off at all. Oh, yeah in the replay you can see he hit his leg on the pommel. Back on and repeats it, then misses the handstand into the dismount and comes off again. Back on to repeat the dismount. Bummer of a set. 11.550

1:23 pm. Neofytos Kyriakou CYP VT: Kas 1.5 looks really nice in the air, looks like the landing startles him slightly, not bad but needs to take a step forward and a wobble to hold it together. 13.850

Second vault is a Yurchenko double full with a big hop back.

1:21 pm. Joshua Nathan ENG PH: Lovely work at the start including on the single pommel and Russians between the pommels, starts to lose hip form on later circles, Busnari was great but then hit his leg on the side of the horse while coming down. Back on for flairs into travels in the Russians, then smooth into the dismount.

1:20 pm. Henry Lewis WAL SR: Iron cross, planche is a little crooked, down to iron cross, front giant to handstand goes well, pike sit with a press to handstand, muscles through the back giant to handstand, double double dismount ends up a bit low with a hop. 12.100

1:19 pm. Marios Georgiou CYP VT: Yurchenko double full, brilliant in the air and stuck it cold! WOWWWW. 14.000!

1:18 pm. Luke Whitehouse ENG PH: Pretty good swing on his early circles, travels well, Russians at the end, then travels in Russians with some leg separation, medium-sized muscle into the dismount but gets through it. 12.400

1:17 pm. Georgios Angonas CYP VT: Yurchenko double full, not bad in the air, a couple of big steps back, I believe OOB. 13.350

1:16 pm. Adam Tobin ENG PH: Scissors with nice push up to handstand, down to circles, moves well onto the single pommel, some hip form, Russians also on the single pommel, then travels in Russians, loses his leg form in the backwards traveling, but corrects and looks strong into the dismount. 12.950

1:12 pm. Trying to include scores but the live scores app doesn’t have a running rotation list, you have to click through to each apparatus separately which is really annoying especially when there’s a lot going on! Will try to add at the end of each rotation if I can’t grab them live.

Most notable is that Jordan Carroll just outscored Rhys McClenaghan on pommel horse with a 14.550!

1:11 pm. Moving into the second rotation! Touch warmups getting underway now.

SUBDIVISION 3 | ROTATION 1

1:10 pm. Jordan Carroll CAN PH: wasn’t typing for this but this was lovely, his extension is excellent, his rhythm looked so on, a really nice hit for them. 14.550

That moves him into the lead by half a tenth!

1:08 pm. Connor Sullivan SCO FX: Front full to double front, lots of power but landed fully OOB. Piked double front was nice. Double full with a big bounce back. 2.5 to front layout. Double pike with a step back. 12.350

1:06 pm. Benjamin Foster AUS SR: Pike sit, clean press to handstand, front giant to handstand, back giant to handstand loses the position for a second but fights back, made the full-in look easy, great landing there. 11.800

1:04 pm. Hamish Carter SCO FX: Double double, chest down but STUCK! Front full to double front, another excellent landing! Great triple full down the side. 2.5 to front layout, FAB. He’s killing it. Double pike was so clean but then he had a wild stumble/slip on the landing. 12.800

1:03 pm. William Émard CAN PH: Lots of scissor work at the beginning but he misses his hand going up into handstand and kinda steps down then has to push back up again. Good fight, though! Russians, through to the dismount sequence, well that was wild and his face is like “wtf was that” lmao. He stayed on and therefore no one can criticize him. 11.400

1:01 pm. Reuben Ward SCO FX: Front full to double front, step forward OOB. Randi with a small hop back. Triple full with another small hop back. So far so good! 2.5 to front layout, had a skid on the landing but saved it from being super bad. Double pike, clean in the air, chest down with a hop back. 13.150

1:00 pm. Jesse Moore AUS SR: Nice handstand near the beginning, then saltos back to handstand. Aggressive swing in the back giant to handstand, double double was stuck! 13.000

12:59 pm. Félix Dolci CAN PH: Scissors to handstand down to circles, Russians between the handles, really solid transition back to circles, crosses in wide-arm Russians with big leg separations that he fights back well from, gets into the dismount pretty easily. 12.750

12:58 pm. Cameron Lynn SCO FX: Front double pike, then double double, a little short but solid enough! Triple full down the side. 2.5 to front layout. Double full down the side, hop back. Double pike set looked low but he got it around no problem! 12.450

12:56 pm. Should be moving into the halfway touch now!

12:54 pm. Marios Georgiou CYP SR: Iron cross, piked saltos through to iron cross, pulls up to pike sit then presses to handstand, slight arch there, piked saltos to handstand, swinging quite a bit, back giant to handstand is a little arched, double double dismount with little steps. 12.750

12:52 pm. Sokratis Pilakouris CYP SR: Maltese, out to iron cross, front giant to handstand, holds it brilliantly, swing through to planche then drops down to maltese, fab. Back giant to handstand, no, fell out of it!!! Pushed himself back up but yikes. Full-twisting double layout landed well but that mistake was so unlike him. 12.850

12:51 pm. Luke Whitehouse ENG FX: Triple back, fab. Front double full to double front, stuck! Strong piked double front. Triple full down the side, solid. Double double to finish. WOO! 14.400!

12:49 pm. Henry Lewis WAL PH: Ooh, love this mullet situation he has going on. Scissors to circles, moves well on the single pommel, travels up and down from the pommels to the horse super well, solid dismount, minor leg form breaks. 12.200

12:47 pm. Joshua Nathan ENG FX: Double front with a big hop forward. Front double full to barani had some form in the air. Clean double full, hops his heels together. 2.5 to front layout with a step. Double pike to finish, hop forward. 13.100

12:46 pm. I just missed a couple of routines because German nationals just finished…what a day. Going to jump back in now!

12:43 pm. Alexander Niscoveanu WAL PH: Scissors to circles, really nice height! Single pommel work is good as is transition back down, Russians across the horse, travels well after that, lovely push up into the dismount but noooo mid-handstand pirouette he loses his rhythm and falls over off the side. 12.100

12:42 pm. Georgios Angonas CYP SR: Pike sit with a nice press to handstand. Back giant to handstand, minor swing, front to handstand a little short, double double dismount with a step back. 12.000

12:41 pm. Adam Tobin ENG FX: Strong piked double front and excellent 3.5 to start! Maybe a step OOB? 2.5 to front layout looked a bit crooked, also a step OOB. Triple full with an open stance on the landing. Double full down the side, good. Strong double pike to finish. 12.450

SUBDIVISION 2 | ROTATION 6

10:18 am. Alexander Istock NZL PH: Scissors to circles, looked like his legs hit, crosses the horse with the wide-arm transition, then went a little wild in the single pommel work, legs fully crash into the horse and he has to come off. Back on for basically the dismount which goes well. 9.800

10:17 am. Justin Spencer CAY HB: Nice piked Yamawaki and double tuck dismount, looked almost stuck! 10.350

10:15 am. Eamon Montgomery NIR FX: I missed the first pass but the landing was good IIRC. Front full to double front with a hop forward. Hit the triple full side pass with a hop back. 2.5 to front layout with a big hop forward. Double double, small hop, excellent! 13.000

10:14 am. Daniel McLean RSA HB: Mostly good in his giants, had some form breaks in one, nice straddle Tkachev but bent legs after catching, clear hip, big full-twisting double layout but falls forward on the landing. 9.950

10:12 am. Daniel Stoddart NZL PH: I wasn’t typing for this but it was a super solid hit! 10.850

10:10 am. Rhys McClenaghan NIR FX: Front full to double front, step forward. 3.5!!! OKAY. Beautiful in the air. Triple full down the side! Beautiful 2.5 to front layout. I’m screaming? Arabian double front half, NOOOO, hand down! SO CLOSE. But he looked amazing! 12.350

10:09 am. Moving into the touch for the final piece of this subdivision!

10:07 am. Tapeswaranath Das IND HB: Straddle Tkachev, front stalder, back stalder, double double layout dismount with a step back. Amazing three-for-three rotation for India on high bar! 11.450

10:05 am. Shishir Ahmed BAN PH: Slipped while working on the single pommel and had a fall. Had another fall after that. 2.050

10:03 am. Yogeshwar Singh IND HB: Tak half was really strong, big floaty layout Tkachev, straddle Tkachev also fab, inbar to stalder, double double layout with a lunge back. VERY strong routine! 12.650

10:02 am. Abu Saeed Rafi BAN PH: Starts with mostly solid circle elements, minor hip form for the most part, but he closes up a bit as he works at the end of the horse and ends up falling. Oh, that was supposed to be right before his dismount, just does the finish when he remounts. 8.850

10:01 am. Tapan Mohanty IND HB: Front stalder was lovely, big straddle Tkachev, stalder, full-twisting double layout clean with a step. Very nice end to his day! 11.700

9:59 am. Nadila Nethviru SRI FX: Double front with a stumble back and hit the second pass with an OOB. Clean back layout down the side. 1.5 to barani is also really nice! Lovely scale. Super clean double pike, step back. 11.400

9:54 am. Moving into the touch for the final rotation!

SUBDIVISION 2 | ROTATION 5

9:50 am. Daniel McLean RSA PB: Missed the Tippelt, pushed too far forward and he flew off the end of the bars. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before, wild. He’s doing it again, this time he is more conservative but sits it on the bar before muscling it to handstand. Then falls again on the pirouette after. Lawd. Back on for a nice full pirouette this time, good double pike dismount with a hop back. 7.850

9:48 am. Daniel Stoddart NZL FX: Sits the piked double front to start. Front layout to front double full was a nice comeback. Clean stuck double full down the side. 2.5 with a hop forward. Clean double pike, lunge back. 12.200

9:47 am. Justin Spencer CAY PB: Beginning went well. Pike sit with a nice press to handstand. Stuck the double tuck dismount! Maybe lifted his heels. Easy set but so clean! 11.450

9:45 am. William Fu-Allen NZL FX: Opens with a randi down the side. Piked double front with a tiny hop. Stuck full-in and triple full down the side!! OOH. 2.5 to front layout with a hop forward. Double pike, a little deep with a hop, but WOW, what a hit! 13.050

9:43 am. Halfway point touch warmups underway!

9:40 am. Rajib Chakma BAN FX: Strong piked double front! Deep but hit tucked double front. Noooo, one hand down on the freaking double full down the side!!!! Slipped it seemed, and his hand touched the mat as he went forward. Nice scale. Front double full is a little short but hit. Stumble back on the double pike. 10.450

9:37 am. Tapeswaranath Das IND PB: Pike sit, press to handstand, Tippelt with a little muscle into the handstand, quarter to single rail and another quarter turn back has some form, and then the Stutz finishes really short and he can’t hold it, crashes down onto the bars and comes off. Back on for the Stutz again, which he gets this time, into a double back with a big stumble and a fall sadly. 10.000

9:35 am. Tapan Mohanty IND PB: Bhavsar, great. Clean press to handstand and then a smooth Tippelt. Pirouette out was clean, pike sit, presses to handstand, this is going SO well right now! Double pike is a bit short but takes a lunge forward to steady it. 12.700

9:33 am. Abu Saeed Rafi BAN FX: Solid double full to open. Front layout with a hop forward. Barani down the side. Russians are a bit wonky in his form but he gets them around. Sticks the back layout, yay! Sadly crashes the layout rudi at the end. 5.300

9:31 am. Yogeshwar Singh IND PB: Diamidov to Stutz, some leg form there. Tippelt goes really nicely to handstand! Sticks the double pike! YESSSS! 12.750

9:30 am. Shishir Ahmed BAN FX: Gets the double front and layout rudi to start! Good. Back tuck down the side. Arabesque scale was okay. Nice barani. Clean back layout to finish. Nice hit! 10.250

9:24 am. Moving into the fifth rotation now!

SUBDIVISION 2 | ROTATION 4

9:21 am. Mikhail Koudinov NZL HB: We jumped into this routine just as he was going for a Cassina, which went way too big and he missed the catch entirely. Back on and does a Kolman, and he’s off again. Got his hands around the bar kinda this time at least. Back on again for a stalder, one-arm giant, and super clean double double layout dismount with a small hop. 9.200

9:19 am. Daniel McLean RSA VT: Goes for a Kas full, and it’s pretty nice in the air, doesn’t quite have the power to get it to his feet today and he ends up putting his hand down but really promising. 12.200

Second vault is a bit simpler, just a handspring front pike, big hop forward but again really nice in the air. 11.800

9:17 am. Alexander Istock NZL HB: Front giant hop, Tak full, some form there, Tak half, layout Tkachev, straddle Tkachev, hop giant, full-twisting double layout with a little hop. Great work! 13.200

9:15 am. Justin Spencer CAY VT: Tsuk back pike, really nice off the table, good landing, just a step back. 10.800

9:14 am. Daniel Stoddart NZL HB: Tak half, some leg form, gets the Kovacs nicely, stalder, blind chance to Tak is really nice, turns back around for giants to the full-twisting double layout dismount, REALLY nice in the air, hop. 12.500

9:12 am. Touch warmups are underway halfway through the rotation!

9:08 am. Tapeswaranath Das IND VT: Goes for a Kas full, starts off strong but he loses form significantly in the air and his rotation is a bit off, ends up crash-landing. 11.750

Second vault is a handspring double front, looked more powerful than Singh’s, but still not quite there and he sits it.

9:07 am. Abu Saeed Rafi BAN HB: Front giant work is going well so far, Endo was smooth, front full with some leg form getting to handstand, turns around for back giants to a layout dismount with a hop.

9:04 am. Yogeshwar Singh IND VT: Kas 1.5, really deep landing, takes a big step back/side out of the squat to keep from sitting it. 12.800

Second vault is a handspring double front, which he sits. 12.400

9:02 am. Shishir Ahmed BAN HB: Lots of front giant work at the beginning but couldn’t get the full turn around, fall. Back on and does a front half, but then can’t get his back giant to handstand and hops off, decides to end his routine. 7.500

9:00 am. Tapan Mohanty IND VT: Kas full, really solid! Step forward. 13.200

8:57 am. Rajib Chakma BAN HB: Tak half with some leg splits, straddle Tkachev, inbar, blind change to front giant to Endo, can’t get it to handstand and has to hop off. Ugh. Back on and does the double layout dismount with a bunch of steps running forward out of it. 8.600

8:53 am. Moving into the touch warmups at the halfway point!

SUBDIVISION 2 | ROTATION 3

8:50 am. Mikhail Koudinov NZL PB: Front salot up to handstand, Diamidov had some leg form, hand adjustment on the giant after, then his legs completely break apart on the next swing up to handstand. And again with major leg form breaks but another save right after. Gets the Healy, half turn before the double pike, step back. Well, a hit, but those mistakes were big…and the saves were WILD! 11.000

8:48 am. Daniel McLean RSA SR: Pike sit, presses down to iron cross, nice. Front giant to pike sit, presses to handstand, back giant to handstand took a few seconds to get there and he doesn’t quite get there. Same with the front giant to handstand, elbows are bent. Full-in dismount with a step. 9.550

8:47 am. Alexander Istock NZL PB: Pike sit pressed to handstand, lovely straddle front, beautiful Tippelt, half turn out with some hand adjustments, then rushes the full pirouette after and sits the double front dismount. UGH, well, this started out so nicely. 11.600

8:46 am. Justin Spencer CAY SR: Pike sit pressed to handstand, minor form there. Back giant to handstand with a slight adjustment, and a clean double tuck dismount, stuck cold. 10.650

8:44 am. Ewan McAteer NIR VT: Kas 1.5, tons of power, looked mostly great in the air, big leap forward on the landing. 13.750

Second vault is a clean Yurchenko double full with a small step back. 13.550

Averages a 13.650, currently second!

8:42 am. Daniel Stoddart NZL PB: Pike sit pressed to handstand, little adjustments, full turn with minor leg separation, front flip up to handstand goes nice, half turn, double front rotates slowly but still somehow overrotates it and crashes it forward. Ugh. 11.200

8:39 am. Halfway point touch warmups underway!

8:38 am. Tapeswaranath Das IND SR: Pike sit, up to handstand, swings through back to pike, then drops to iron cross to inverted maltese I think after that. Dismounts with a front layout 1.5, good landing, step to the side. 11.100

8:36 am. Abu Saeed Rafi BAN PB: Muscles up the handstand at the start, pike sit with a clean press to handstand, nice, front layout half dismount with a good landing. 10.000

8:34 am. Swathish Kaitheri Puthalath IND SR: Iron cross into a maltese, really nice! Iron cross, front giant to handstand, really solid. Swings through to maltese. Swings up to planche, dismounts with a full-in, deep with a step. Great work! 12.450

8:32 am. Rajib Chakma BAN PB: Excellent Tippelt! His hip height was so good. Diamidov form was a little rough, and then he hit his leg on the half turn right after and kinda fell onto the bars. Double pike dismount, falls onto his back. 9.550

8:31 am. Yogeshwar Singh IND SR: Pushes up to pike sit, drops to iron cross, shoulder angle maybe a little off, front giant to handstand with a little muscle, then into his front saltos to pike sit, nice. Rolls through up to handstand, then a full-twisting double tuck with a step back. 11.500

8:29 am. Shishir Ahmed BAN PB: Short on the handstand at first but I think he looks nice overall with lovely extension through his legs. Mostly easy stuff on the bars, then does a front layout dismount, but punches forward onto his hand. 9.300

8:27 am. Tapan Mohanty IND SR: Iron cross, holds it for a while with open palms. Drops down then presses back up to cross then out to maltese IIRC. Saltos to pike sit, presses up to handstand, front giant to handstand, kinda falls out of it and has to push up again. Back giant to handstand goes better, sways a little, full-twisting double layout deep but barely moves his feet. 12.100

8:23 am. Touch for the third rotation starting now!

SUBDIVISION 2 | ROTATION 2

8:20 am. They’re really anti-showing New Zealand so far I think? Or is no one vaulting aside from Stoddart maybe? Oh yeah, I think that’s the case. He’s the only one who did rings and vault lol. I got mad for no reason.

8:18 am. Daniel McLean RSA PH: Scissors to circles, really nice swing and good hip height! Travels well, minor leg form, but loses momentum into the handstand and can’t get into the dismount, fall there sadly. Gets it on the second try. 10.700

8:17 am. Daniel Stoddart NZL VT: Kas half, really powerful, clean in the air, and a great landing, just a tiny hop forward. 13.300

8:16 am. Justin Spencer CAY PH: Scissors to swings, hit his legs on the horse at one point, but overall this is pretty solid! Loses some leg form a bit near the end but makes it up nicely into the dismount. 10.700

8:15 am. Halfway point touch warmups!

8:12 am. Tapeswaranath Das IND PH: Circles back and forth well at first but then loses his leg form at the end of the horse after traveling backwards, which disrupts his rhythm and he’s off. Repeats it with leg form but he holds on this time and finishes with just a big muscle up into the dismount, kinda falls out of it but pushes back up. 7.200

8:11 am. Shishir Ahmed BAN VT: Tsuk layout with a big step back. 11.700

8:09 am. Swathish Kaitheri Puthalath IND PH: Really nice and strong circles throughout the first half, loses some form halfway through but I think overall he looks very aggressive and solid. Good hit! 10.300

8:05 am. Rajib Chakma BAN VT: Goes for a handspring 1.5 and it looks okay at first but in the last half twist he kinda tucks himself around and then crashes down to the mat. 11.650

Second vault is a handspring double front, really not even close on that landing and it’s kinda scary how his head and neck hit tbh. Oof. Okay, in the replay it looks more like shoulders but I’m scared. 0.000

8:03 am. Abu Saeed Rafi BAN VT: Tsuk layout, good in the air, hop back. 11.650

8:02 am. Yogeshwar Singh IND PH: Scissor to circles, travels in Russians, nice. Does good work transitioning between the horse and the pommels. Slows down near the ends but keeps things going, then some form struggles into the handstand before the dismount. Good fight at the end! 11.100

7:58 am. Touch warmups are underway for the second rotation!

SUBDIVISION 2 | ROTATION 1

7:53 am. Daniel McLean RSA FX: Randi to start, great! Double front also beautiful. Front double full with a small hop. Beautiful double full. Double pike, perfection. His form is OUTSTANDING. 13.350 (4.5, 8.850) – that E score is so deserved!

7:51 am. Daniel Stoddart NZL SR: Planche to iron cross, nice. Swings through saltos right to handstand, back giant to handstand, full-in double tuck, great routine! 12.800

7:49 am. Justin Spencer CAY FX: 2.5 to start, a bit messy. Back layout was nice. Double tuck with a lunge back. Good hit! 11.450

7:47 am. Rhys McClenaghan NIR PH: Opens really well, scissors into his circles and wide-arm Russians, works on the single pommel very quickly and cleanly, one-arm swing, Russians between the pommels, everything is so brilliant so far, travels well in circles then Russians, excellent transition up into the dismount, this was perfection. Does the most leprechaun of jigs and then skips away like a jolly wee lad. 14.500 (5.5, 9.000)!!!

7:44 am. There’s going to be midway touch warmups in this subdivision, FYI! I think that’s what’s happening now, or any second now.

7:42 am. Shishir Ahmed BAN SR: Planche angle is a bit low in his legs below his hips. Good iron cross. Pull up to pike sit, presses to handstand, takes a second but gets there cleanly, rolls back down to inverted hang. Back to pike sit then presses out to iron cross, nice. He’s very slow and steady in his work. Back layout dismount, clean and stuck. 8.950

7:39 am. Tapeswaranath Das IND FX: Front full to double front, a little seated but takes a lunge back to save it. Double tuck with a big bounce back. Clean double full with a step back. Triple full was a bit rough in the air and he falls on the landing. Clean double pike but a bit short, hands down. 9.500

7:38 am. Abu Saeed Rafi BAN SR: Struggles to get into the straddle sit, rolls through to inverse planche, pull up to pike sit then presses to handstand, swings slightly and arches a bit, back down to a kind of pike sit but doesn’t really hold it. Just a back layout dismount but lands well. 5.900

7:36 am. Yogeshwar Singh IND FX: Very clean piked double front! Front full to double front, really deep landing but saves it from a fall with a big lunge back. Solid double full down the side. 2.5 to front layout, a bit arched with a hop forward. Hoppy in his scale. Arabian double front goes a bit too slow in its rotation and he sits it. 10.600

7:34 am. Rajib Chakma BAN SR: Kip up to pike sit, opens out to clean iron cross, piked saltos to pike sit pressed to a clean handstand, then a solid full-in dismount with a step back. Good work! 10.700

Tapan Mohanty IND FX: Front full to double front, then sits the piked double front. Back layout down the side, textbook and stuck. Front double full with a step. Clean double pike, chest down and a step forward. 12.150

7:32 am. Nadila Nethviru SRI PH: Nice scissor to handstand, arches over but saves it back down to scissors. Gets a little stuck before transitioning into his swing, good recovery again though right into the single pommel work, really aggressive and solid in his travels, Russians have some leg separation, NOOOOO, then goes into the dismount but can’t even muscle up into the handstand and comes off. Really impressive difficulty overall, just ran out of steam. Gets the dismount on the second try. Bummer. 11.200

7:30 am. Touch warmups are underway!

7:25 am. Okay, here we go! Athlete introductions are taking place now.

7:23 am. I’m back! I’d expect we’ll get athlete introductions any second now.

7:00 am. Okay, the broadcast says it starts at 12:23 pm BST which is VERY specific lol. That’s 7:23 am my time, so see you in 23 minutes EXACTLY.

6:53 am. I think the second subdivision is supposed to immediately follow the first…keep checking in every few minutes!

Coming up in subdivision two are Bangladesh, Cayman Islands, India, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, South Africa, and Sri Lanka.

SUBDIVISION 1 | ROTATION 6

6:46 am. Harry Eyres IOM HB: Front giant half, straddle Tkachev, bends his knees after catching, clear hip, turns around for a front giant full, back to regular grip for a clean double tuck dismount. Good work! 10.100

6:41 am. Jovi Loh SGP HB: He had a long wait before going up. Tak half was nice, OH shit, peeled off while winding up in his giants and flips around to his back, that was SO scary but he had GREAT air awareness to land correctly, give him points for that. Back on and does the giants to beautiful Kolman and Kovacs, UGH SO GOOD. The slip is killing me. Good front giant work, dismounts with a double double layout with a step to the side. 11.350

6:39 am. Chane Cumbermack TTO PH: Scissors to circles, starts bending his hips a bit near the end, but goes up with a slight muscle into the handstand with a little pirouette before the dismount. Simple but so clean tbh! 11.200

6:37 am. Abdul Barr SGP HB: Tak full with some leg form breaks, Tak half arches WAY over and he comes off. Back on for a straddle Tkachev, German giants, nice double layout dismount, step. 11.250

6:34 am. Asher Pua SGP HB: Tak half with some leg form, a bit short as well, bent legs in the layout Tkachev, straddle Tkachev is cleaner, stalder, double-twisting double layout, ends up short and falls. He’s had such a rough day. 10.650

6:32 am. Muhammad Sharul Aimy MAS FX: Front full to double front, stuck! Front double full to front layout, also stuck. 2.5 down the side, small hop. Clean 1.5 down the side. Arabian double front, small hop. THIS WAS SO GOOD. 13.250

6:25 am. Moving into the touch warmups for the final rotation in a minute!

SUBDIVISION 1 | ROTATION 5

6:22 am. Harry Eyres IOM PB: Press to handstand, slow and steady, with a clean Healy out. Short on the half turn, walks his hands slightly as well, but good recovery. Double tuck dismount with steps back. 10.950

6:19 am. Jovi Loh SGP PB: Lovely start with his handstands, full turn went a bit awry with leg form and a little slip of his hands, half turn was nice, big straddle front, Tippelt with minor muscle to handstand, double front half with chest down and a hop. Strongest set here so far even with the little errors – just beautiful work! 12.750

6:17 am. Chane Cumbermack TTO FX: Front full to double front, overrotates with a stumble forward OOB. Full-in was great in the air, opened up so early and beautifully. Double full down the side. Nice 2.5 to front layout! Double pike, slips and flies forward to fall, noooooo! 11.050

6:15 am. Abdul Barr SGP PB: Overrotated the opening skill but then cleaned up well and had some really nice handstand work after, though came off on a full pirouette after. Then fell down onto the bars on a half turn. Ugh. Double pike with a step. 5.550

6:14 am. Clayton Bell JAM FX: Great double double to start! Hop back. Front full to double front, deep, steps back. Clean double full down the side. 1.5 to front full, good. Clean double pike, step back.

6:13 am. Asher Pua SGP PB: Simple set but really clean, unfortunately then crashes the double pike dismount.

6:07 am. Touch warmups for the fifth rotation!

SUBDIVISION 1 | ROTATION 4

6:06 am. Harry Eyres IOM VT: Tsuk full, comes off the table looking clean but then has some pretty bent legs in the twist. Step back. 12.800

6:05 am. Asher Pua SGP VT: Kas full, some leg form in the air and lands really short with his chest pretty far down, big step OOB. 12.450

6:03 am. Shahzad Ali PAK PB: Lots of form things early on, and his skills are pretty simple, but he’s working through this routine well. Back layout dismount with a step back. 8.300

6:01 am. Chane Cumbermack TTO HB: Tak, turns around for the layout Tkachev, some flexed feet but nice catch, straddle Tkachev, Quast, triple back! WOO!!!! 12.050

6:00 am. Jovi Loh SGP VT: Kaz full, kind of a lot of form in the air (really bent legs and hips) with a big step out to the side, OOB. 12.950

5:59 am. Ng Chun Chen MAS PB: Well glad he’s okay and wasn’t injured on his missed vault. They didn’t show a replay! Tippelt, Healy both good, double front dismount. 12.850

5:58 am. Clayton Bell JAM HB: Tak half was a little short, Tkachev, blind change to front giant to Tak, full-twisting double layout dismount, clean with little hops back. 11.100

5:52 am. Touch underway for the fourth rotation!

SUBDIVISION 1 | ROTATION 3

5:50 am. Chane Cumbermack TTO PB: Also wasn’t typing but had a lovely one-arm pirouette, Tippelt was a little muscled, then a clean double pike dismount but overrotated and sat it sadly. 11.000

5:49 am. Harry Eyres IOM SR: Wasn’t typing but this was a hit! 10.350

5:45 am. Muhammad Sharul Aimy MAS VT: Handspring double front, woo! A little low on the landing and takes a lunge forward but solid overall. 13.750

Second vault is a Kas 1.5, nice in the air, a little seated in the landing with a big hop back, but also really strong! 13.700

5:44 am. Jovi Loh SGP SR: Pike sit, down to iron cross, front saltos to pike sit, a little muscled on this press to handstand, back giant to handstand, full-in dismount with a small hop. 11.500

5:42 am. Clayton Bell JAM PB: Front straddle was great! Clean pirouette work, Bhavsar, pike sit with a press to handstand, Tippelt got a little stuck on the catch but gets the handstand. Double pike dismount with a small hop. 11.700

Ng Chun Chen MAS VT: They didn’t show it but looks like based on the score (and from the crowd’s gasp in the background of p-bars) that he had a miss on his first vault. Ughhhh. 0.000

5:41 am. Asher Pua SGP SR: Pike sit press to handstand, back giant to handstand, little swing there, front giant to handstand is a little better, double double dismount with a small hop. 7.700

5:37 am. Touch warmups for the third rotation!

SUBDIVISION 1 | ROTATION 2

5:34 am. Clayton Bell JAM VT: Kas full, gets it around well, big step out to the side and OOB on the landing. 13.300

Second vault is a Yurchenko double full with a lunge back. 13.300

5:32 am. Harry Eyres IOM PH: Scissors to circles, good overall, inor leg form as he travels, comes back from some leg separation there. A little rough into the handstand, only makes it about halfway ish but pulls through to land. 10.700

5:30 am. Chane Cumbermack TTO VT: Gorgeous Yurchenko double full with a fantastic landing, stuck it cold! 13.900

5:28 am. Asher Pua SGP PH: Scissors to circles, big leg separation when he moves to the single pommel and it interrupts his flow, fall. Back on and does some clean single pommel work this time, transitions into traveling circles, Russians across, some leg form up into the handstand, a bit of an arch over but gets it to the dismount. 11.100

5:27 am. Shahzad Ali PAK SR: Nice planche, could’ve held it a second longer, to iron cross, good! Pulls up to pike sit then presses to handstand, slow but steady, very nice. Rolls through to inverse planche, just a back layout dismount but a good landing, fab job! 0.000 (1.3, 6.200, -8.3 ND)

His ND comes from a short exercise penalty mostly. This really was a nice set, kinda heartbreaking to see the zero. I get it. I hate it.

5:26 am. Jovi Loh SGP PH: Scissors to circles, REALLY nice stretch when he moves to the single pommels, goes back and forth between single and both, travels with minor leg separation, and the handstand into the dismount was only about 75% of the way there, but overall a hit! 12.100

5:23 am. Touch for the second rotation now underway!

SUBDIVISION 1 | ROTATION 1

5:20 am. Muhammad Sharul Aimy MAS PH: really lovely circles to start, good transition from handle down to the horse, minor error on the single pommel but good cover up, travels well and then dismounts smoothly. Great work! 12.100

5:17 am. Harry Eyres IOM FX: Front double full to front layout, hop forward OOB. Strong double front! Hop back. Double full down the side. 2.5 with a step forward. Clean double pike, chest low and step back. 11.650

5:16 am. Shahzad Ali PAK PH: Really struggles with leg form at the beginning then stops to pause in between several of his circles which is considered a fall each time. Quick and simple set but great to see Pakistan out here! 2.500

5:13 am. Jovi Loh SGP FX: Love this kid. Front full to double front, solid! Arabian double front half, lands with his foot OOB. Big triple full down the side, hop back OOB. 2.5 to front layout, small hop. Double tuck, a bit short with a big hop forward but he’s SO good! 11.750

5:12 am. Chane Cumbermack TTO SR: Iron cross, pulls up to pike hold before saltos back to pike sit, presses to handstand, a bit short but finds it, front giant to handstand, really nice, double double dismount. Nice hit! 11.000

5:11 am. Ng Chun Chen MAS PH: Hips are pretty closed throughout the majority of this set BUT he’s got clean leg form until the very end. Mostly just simple circles throughout, a solid set. 12.400

Clayton Bell JAM SR: Straddle planche, saltos to handstand took a second but muscles it up, back giant to handstand, stuck the landing on the dismount, a bit deep but nice! 11.650

5:07 am. Asher Pua SGP FX: Double front, sits it. Well, that’s a way to start this Games. So sad. Front double full to front layout goes well, then back layout down the side. 2.5 with a step back. Very awkward scale with a big wobble haha. Awww. Double full to finish. 10.000
