3. Charleigh Bullock 55.400
4. Hezly Rivera 55.000
5. Jade Carey 54.400
6. Reese Esponda 54.100
7. Dulcy Caylor 53.600
8. Izzy Stassi 53.500
8:51 pm. Tatum Drusch BB: Hit the bhs loso. Front aerial, doesn’t connect to jumps, straddle is really short. Side aerial, wobble. Switch to switch half, a bit short there as well. Side somi with a minor check. Off on a side leap. Double pike, chest down and a step back.
Reese Esponda FX: Big double double, nails the landing. Also great air on the double layout. Front half to double tuck is so iconic. Double pike, small hop.
8:48 pm. Charleigh Bullock FX: Full-in, some leg separation in the tucks, hop back. Whip full through to mostly clean double tuck, hop. A little iffy in the Memmel to full turn. Tour jeté half to switch half. Front double full, some leg separation and a step forward. 2.5, form was better! Step forward.
8:46 pm. Hezly Rivera BB: Got the wolf turn, side aerial to clean jump series. Bhs layout is solid. Front aerial to split ring jump to Korbut, good connections. Switch ring. Switch leap. Double pike, chest a bit forward, step back.
8:44 pm. Dulcy Caylor FX: Double layout is floaty but ends up a bit deep with a hop forward. Whip full through to double tuck looks like it’s gonna be short but she punches front out of it, good! I think a triple wolf turn and double L. Double pike, little bounce back. Leap series had little things but overall a nice hit!
8:42 pm. Ally Damelio BB: Wasn’t super focused on this but saw she had two falls sadly.
8:40 pm. Caroline Moreau FX: Nice open double layout. Maybe a lil short on the landing. Split jump full. Full-in with a hop back. Switch to switch full. Front layout through to double tuck, some form in the air, chest down.
8:39 pm. Simone Rose UB: Again wasn’t quick enough to type this but a nice hit routine, nothing major that I could see, full-twisting double layout dismount had a big step back.
Greta Krob VT: Stuck the Yurchenko full!
8:37 pm. Claire Pease BB: Loved the switch to split to Onodi. Solid bhs loso loso. 2.5 with some ankle form.
Lavi Crain FX: Preps forever but then still awkward coming out of the Memmel turn. Clean double tuck. Nice on the leap series before the front full. Double L turn isn’t bad. Gets the 2.5 around with minor form.
Lila Richardson VT: Really low block for the Yurchenko double full, super deep landing.
8:35 pm. Skye Blakely VT: Lovely Lopez!! Really nice in the air and a strong landing.
Izzy Stassi UB: Couldn’t type for this but watched all of it, fully hit routine, mostly nice in everything, full-twisting double layout with a little bounce.
8:31 pm. Zoey Molomo VT: Yurchenko 1.5, opens up really nicely out of it and has a good landing! Some form in the air but nothing severe.
Jade Carey UB: Toe-on to Bhardwaj, minor leg separation, van Leeuwen, Ehzova, good handstand before the Maloney (minor form) to Gienger, maybe a bit close but not bad. Blind full, slightly late, full-twisting double layout dismount, small hop.
Isabella Anzola BB: Good flight series! Hit everything I saw.
Alessia Rosa FX: Think she went for a double double but whatever it was she just didn’t have the rotation at all, hard crash on her hands and knees. Front layout full with some leg form, through to double tuck, deep but gets the landing. Double pike to finish.
8:26 pm. Rotation 3 Standings
1. Charleigh Bullock 41.950
2. Claire Pease 41.700
3. Skye Blakely 41.400
4. Jade Carey 41.050
5. Hezly Rivera 40.700
6. Tatum Drusch 40.300
7. Dulcy Caylor 40.150
8. Caroline Moreau 40.100
8:23 pm. Charleigh Bullock BB: Welp typed this entire thing up and then the connection went down and I lost all of it. This wifi is killing me. Fully hit routine, from my memory she was mostly steady and clean on everything, minor checks and wobbles, I think most severe was maybe the side somi? Loved the leap series to bhs and the Korbut series. Bhs solid IIRC, and good hit on the dismount.
8:18 pm. Dulcy Caylor BB: Switch mount. Good bhs loso loso. Split ring jump I think, I couldn’t see it from here. I think side aerial to switch to switch half? Good connections! Front aerial with a little stumble. Split jump to Korbut, nice. Nails the double pike! That’s gotta feel good after Classics.
8:16 pm. Hezly Rivera UB: Weiler half to toe full, a bit rushed, to Chow to stalder to Downie, she was rushing through that whole sequence and doesn’t quite have her rhythm and the timing for the release is way off, fall. Back on for Maloney to Tkachev, full-in dismount with a step.
8:14 pm. Caroline Moreau BB: Hit the leap mount series to back tuck. Fell on something midway through, aerial maybe? I only saw her come off. Back on for jumps. Hit the double pike.
8:11 pm. Lila Richardson FX: Full-in, a little deep, hop. Good split full. Little steps back after whip full through to double tuck. Tour jeté half to switch full. Hit the last pass.
Ally Damelio UB: Weiler half, catches the Seitz to Pak, Maloney to Gienger, some leg separation, handstand before the toe full was great but the pirouette was a little rushed, blind change to double front, ugh, too far back and she sits it. Crowd loved this routine, especially the Seitz and the Maloney to Gienger.
8:10 pm. Lavi Crain BB: Switch leap mount to switch half to split ring jump, okay queen! Front aerial maybe a lil slow to jumps, but jumps are clean, so is bhs loso. Wobbled on…side aerial IIRC. Misses her feet on the dismount and just does a layout, oof.
8:08 pm. Skye Blakely FX: I think she started with 1.5 to front full, then front handspring to double front to stag, nice! Big bounce out of the last pass.
Claire Pease UB: Endo half right to handstand, to inbar full, Komova II to Tkachev, a bit low. Clean Pak, Chow half, toe half to double front half, stuck! Maybe a hair short in rotation and feet are apart but alas.
8:06 pm. Alessia Rosa BB: Wasn’t super focused on this but saw she had a nice flight series and the front aerial to jump series was excellent overall, just wobbled on the landing. Deep double tuck dismount, hop back.
8:03 pm. Isabella Anzola UB: Hop change to Weiler half, stalder full was really rushed, Maloney to stalder arches over and she can’t pull it to handstand, fall. Back on for a Maloney to stalder again, gets it this time with a minor adjustment into a stalder Tkachev, Pak with some leg form, another fall on the van Leeuwen. Good double layout, step.
Zoey Molomo FX: Double layout is great! Whip full thorugh to double pike, a little short but not severe. Front tuck through to double tuck, chest pretty low on that one, hop.
Izzy Stassi VT: Strong Yurchenko 1.5! Minor form and a little tentative on the landing.
8:00 pm. Simone Rose VT: Yurchenko 1.5, I missed basically every detail but saw she hit!
Tatum Drusch UB: Hit routine, full-twisting double layout dismount was a bit deep.
Greta Krob FX: Hit the first pass then a front tuck through to double full, leg form throughout the twist. Good on the double pike to finish, step on the landing.
Reese Esponda BB: Was not super focused on this one but don’t think she missed anything. Basically stuck the double pike dismount, little bounce maybe?
Jade Carey VT: Yurchenko double full, minor soft knees in the air, hop back. Also did a Lopez, really nice on that! Bounce on the landing.
7:55 pm. Rotation 2 Standings
1. Charleigh Bullock 28.250
2. Hezly Rivera 28.200
3. Skye Blakely 27.950
4. Claire Pease 27.500
5. Reese Esponda 27.300
– Caroline Moreau 27.300
7. Tatum Drusch 27.000
8. Jade Carey 26.850
7:51 pm. Dulcy Caylor UB: Toe full to Maloney with nice lift to Pak, some leg separation. Van Leeuwen has some form throughout, blind change to straddle Jaeger is good, had a weird issue with a handstand after and needed an extra swing, but corrects and continues into a double layout dismount.
7:47 pm. Caroline Moreau UB: Hop change to Weiler half with minor ankle separation to Maloney to clear hip to Church, Pak was a bit awkward in the air in terms of the shape/body line, van Leeuwen is mostly clean, blind full, strong double layout, small hop back.
7:43 pm. Skye Blakely BB: Triple wolf turn is good! Standing full is excellent. Front handspring front tuck with a big stumble but holds on. Punch front pike is gorg. Hit the rest, double back dismount.
Lavi Crain UB: Endo half to Maloney to stalder to stalder Tkachev, stalder full, Pak, van Leeuwen, release from the low bar is off and she can’t make it to the high bar. Hit the double layout very well after remounting.
7:38 pm. Zoey Molomo BB: Side aerial loso was solid. Nice standing back. Big wobble I saw out of the corner of my eye on something after that but otherwise hit routine!
Alessia Rosa UB: Piked Jaeger, also had a Tkachev, toe-on to van Leeuwen was nice, full-in dismount.
Jade Carey FX: Full-in double layout, small hop, minor form in the air. Hit the double double well and had good control on her leaps. Couldn’t see from this angle how split they were! Hit the third pass. A bit wild on the double tuck at the end, big bounce, leg pops up, but hit routine.
Ally Damelio VT: Yurchenko 1.5, leg split coming off the table was a bit rough but she pulled it together and got it around.
7:37 pm. Claire Pease VT: Yurchenko double full, keeps her legs together well enough, maybe some knee form but a good landing. Does a Lopez for her second vault, I didn’t see details but didn’t look AS clean as the DTY, not bad though.
7:33 pm. Greta Krob BB: Side aerial a bit slow to jumps but hits those. Bhs loso loso, goes kinda slowly through it and has minor form. Short on the switch half. Deep on the double tuck dismount.
Simone Rose FX: 2.5 is a bit iffy in the air, still able to punch into a barani out of it. Tucked? That’s all I really saw from her!
Isabella Anzola VT: Yurchenko full, really clean form in the air, hop back.
Reese Esponda UB: Hit a full pirouette to van Leeuwen, muscled the next handstand but managed to fix it and get the Ezhova, Maloney to Gienger, some hip form and a little close, clear hip to full-in, small hop.
7:30 pm. Hezly Rivera VT: Gets the Yurchenko double full with minor form, a little deep on the landing, just a bounce I think!
Charleigh Bullock UB: Endo half with a slight arch to inbar full to Komova II to Pak, Pak was clean, otherwise little adjustments and form errors. Clean van Leeuwen, short handstand before the inbar half to straddle Jaeger, sticks the full-in!
Lila Richardson BB: Check on the loso mount. Hit everything else!
Izzy Stassi FX: Nice double double to open! Think her second pass was a full-in. Leaps could be a little cleaner, 1.5 to front full hit.
Tatum Drusch VT: Yurchenko 1.5, legs looked glued from my angle! Good landing too. Also does a Tsuk full, pretty clean as well, minor nits in the air, bounce back.
7:23 pm. Rotation 1 Standings
1. Reese Esponda 14.200
– Skye Blakely 14.200
3. Charleigh Bullock 14.000
– Hezly Rivera 14.000
5. Lavi Crain 13.950
6. Caroline Moreau 13.900
7. Dulcy Caylor 13.850
8. Alessia Rosa 13.700
7:20 pm. Claire Pease FX: Strong on the double double to start. Double layout, minor form, chest a little low, but nails that landing. Switch ring to switch half. 1.5 to rudi, little stumble back. 2.5 with some ankle form. Good routine overall!
7:18 pm. Jade Carey BB: Switch side, little stumble. Front aerial to split jump to Korbut, not bad. Great control on the bhs loso. Side aerial, also solid. Double tuck, a little cowboyed, hop back, good hit!
7:17 pm. Isabella Anzola FX: Very nice double layout to start. 2.5 to front full, came a little short out of the former but got the tuck around. Mostly okay on the leap series, maybe a little short on the second. Double tuck was not bad, maybe slightly low with a little bounce on the landing. Good double pike to finish.
7:12 pm. Simone Rose BB: Hit the leap mount to another leap, good quick connection. Big wobble on the bhs loso loso. Front aerial, jumps mostly good, 2.5 dismount, twisting form is a little iffy but gets it around.
Caroline Moreau VT: EXCELLENT landing on the Yurchenko 1.5! Maybe a little deep but very solid overall.
Tatum Drusch FX: Triple spin was a close your eyes and go for it situation but she did pretty well with it! Hit the first pass. Popa maybe a little short. Also hit the second pass, I keep missing what she’s doing but seeing the landings. Good leap series. Hit routine overall!
Zoey Molomo UB: Couldn’t type for this but saw almost all of it and it was great! Double front dismount.
7:11 pm. Greta Krob UB: I missed the first skill, saw the stalder full, Maloney to clear hip to Ray, good! Clean Pak, van Leeuwen with some leg form, double layout, a little whippy, but lands it mostly well.
Lavi Crain VT: Yurchenko double full, twists it so nicely! Pretty good landing as well, step back.
7:09 pm. Izzy Stassi BB: Had a wild wobble on the mount but somehow stayed on and recovered nicely. The rest was hit, double tuck dismount.
Hezly Rivera FX: Full-twisting double layout and double layout both REALLY good. Something that I missed through to double tuck, good. Ring leaps in connection, 2.5 was pretty deep on the landing but she gets it there.
Alessia Rosa VT: Yurchenko double full, pretty nice! Maybe a little tentative on the landing, and a little crooked.
7:08 pm. Lila Richardson UB: Maloney with some leg separation into a big Tkachev, straddle Jaeger, toe full had some form, hit the rest, including a full-twisting double layout, some form but gets the landing.
Reese Esponda VT: Stuck the Yurchenko double full!!!
7:06 pmm. Charleigh Bullock VT: Big and mostly clean Yurchenko double full! Actually looks like she overrotates it slightly, kinda steps facing sideways into the salute.
7:04 pm. Dulcy Caylor VT: Yurchenko double full, slightly deep and a hop back.
Skye Blakely UB: Stalder to Church, nice! Downie to Pak is very clean. Van Leeuwen, toe half to front giant to double front half, EXCELLENT! Step back.
Jayla Hang BB: Gets the bhs loso well. Hit everything else I saw.
Ally Damelio FX: Whip to triple full, a bit underrotated but keeps it upright. Also hit the second pass and then a double tuck to finish.
6:59 pm. Again it’s going to be kinda hard to follow all four events at the same time given where the media is sitting for this meet, it’s a lot of looking left to see bars and right to see beam whereas usually I can see everything directly in front of me, but I’m going to try to get everything I can. I think senior competition moves a bit slower than juniors thanks to the broadcast delays.
6:54 pm. Athletes are being introduced now! We’ll have the national anthem and then touch warmups and should start right around 7 pm local time in Phoenix!

Is anyone else seeing that the clock displays on beam and floor aren’t working, or is it just me? They keep counting down the 30 second start time even after the routine starts and then they stay at 0:00 for the rest of the routine.

Ooh, I didn’t notice! I wonder if the judges have a backup so it’s not an ‘official’ issue.

I could hear the 10-second bell on beam so it seems like the judges did have their own timing going. Such a weird malfunction though.

Yeah, and I guess especially after the entire MAG scoring system went down last night and we could see the judges writing their scores and passing them down like in the good old days lol…there must be back-up systems for these malfunctions!
