52.850 moves her into first ahead of Tonelli so yeah, the podium will be Nemour in first, Petisco in second, and Tonelli in third!

6:55 am. Djenna Laroui ALG VT: Handspring front layout half, her block is VERY weak, and she goes straight out instead of up, but she gets it around today with a bounce on the landing. 12.650

6:53 am. Sofia Tonelli ITA FX: Popa. Mostly clean in the double tuck, hop back. Hit the second pass and leap pass, though was a bit short on the switch full at the end of the leaps. Nice extended Memmel turn. Tour jeté half. Double pike, a bit deep but her feet don’t move. 13.250

That moves her to the top of the list with Petisco and Nemour still to go. I think that’s our podium!

Wow, she has a 49.400 with two falls which is kind of incredible for her!

6:29 am. Athanasia Mesiri GRE FX: I jumped in just as she was landing the first pass, so not sure what it was but she hit it! Okay I also missed the start of the second pass, I think it was a front double full, but also hit. Double pike at the end was stuck with her chest slightly low, some soft knees in the air as well. 13.100

Also caught a straddle Jaeger, toe-on to blind half, and a full-in with a hop. Great quality routine, and didn’t have the mistake from quals where she whacked her feet on the low bar immediately so her score should improve dramatically. 13.300

4:32 am. Touch warmups are underway now. Kaylia Nemour had more than a two-point lead in qualifications WITH a fall on bars, so she’s looking to run away with the title today even if she’s not perfect, and I think Alba Petisco should also be pretty set for the podium.
