The Japanese MAG team

The gymnastics competition at this year’s Asian Games begins in Nagoya, Japan on Monday, and we’ve got everything you need to follow along, including the complete athlete rosters, full schedule, and links for following along via live scores and streams.

What’s at Stake?

Held every four years, the Asian Games are a multi-sport event that bring together athletes from countries that are part of the Asian continent. As with most major Games, gymnasts compete for team, all-around, and apparatus medals across several days of action, with the first two days of competition serving as the all-around final as well as the qualification round for the team and apparatus finals.

Both China and Japan – the host country – have top-tier teams competing here and should be in direct competition for the top of the podium in both the MAG and WAG team finals, while Kazakhstan, South Korea, Taiwan, and Uzbekistan will fight for podium spots on the MAG side, and the other top WAG programs to keep an eye on include both North and South Korea.

The Aichi-Nagoya 2026 website will have live scores linked to each session once the competition begins. I’ve linked to the schedule overview for gymnastics, where you’ll be able to click through each day to see which events are held, which is where the live scores will appear once the sessions are active.

You should be able to stream every event for FRE on Asian Games TV, and we’ll be live blogging some of the finals if you’re unable to tune in.
