6:09 pm. Current all-around leader is still Steingruber with 57.607, followed by Saraiva (56.882), Alt (55.998), Barbosa (55.823), Oliveira (55.640), Gomez (55.498), Lopez (55.265), Käslin (54.599), Millousi (54.431), and Kovacs (54.399) in the top ten.

6:07 pm. With a 223.977, Germany is about 2.5 points behind Brazil for second place. These two teams are officially going to Rio!!! Romania is also officially out, currently in fifth with a 216.569. Australia and Switzerland will try to hold on for one more rotation as we finish with France and Belgium in the final session.

6:04 pm. Larsson FX- Big tucked full-in, step OOB. Double back, another step OOB. Ugh, not her day. 😦 She should still get in though. Last pass is a double pike with a hop back but she does great work saving that from going out.

6:02 pm. Perez FX- Tucked full-in, tiny bounce. Whip whip through to double tuck is great. Double full has a nice landing. Solid double pike. She’s happy about that. It’ll be close between her and Colom!

Jeong BB- Side somi, wobble but holds it. Hit flight series. Check on side aerial. Double full dismount. Good job!

5:58 pm. G. Lee BB- Would be nice to see her get some redemption here after vault and bars. Front aerial, side somi, double pike nearly stuck. Happy for her!!!

Tratz UB- Stalder to Maloney to bail (leg sep) to toe on to toe full to toe shoot, all very clean actually. Jaeger. Stuck double pike. UM WOW. For her on bars that was MAGIC!!!

Colom FX- Solid full-in. Hit second pass, 2.5 I think. Double full. Double back. Really fun routine, and great work from her all day today!

5:55 pm. Yun BB- Hit everything so far, fully hit routine for her! Yay.

Seitz UB- Maloney to Ricna, great. jaeger, looked like she hit her feet on the low bar before but if she did, it didn’t phase her, piked Tkachev to pak, KILLING IT. Toe full to full-in with a step!!!!

McGregor FX- Get it with your fierce Phantom routine!! Big piked full-in. Hit second pass. Double pike. Hit final pass. Great work.

5:54 pm. Martins VT- Huge FTY, bounced back.

5:53 pm. Scheder UB- I missed the beginning but she hit everything, caught the Jaeger, and a sky high stuck full-in!!! EXCELLENT. Crowd goes wild. High five for Seitz before she goes.

5:51 pm. Kim BB- Wobbled on a front aerial but saved it. Side aerial with a big wobble and a fall.

Dick FX- Nearly stuck double pike.  Front layout to Rudi. Good double full. What a day she’s had given all the drama. Good for her for coming in here and doing her thing while people are dumbly wishing her ill thinking it’s her fault Thema Williams is out.

5:49 pm. Phan VT- Hit vault.

Alt UB- Toe on to toe full, Maloney to pak with slight leg sep, clean van Leeuwen, Jaeger, double layout with a hop, big applause. GREAT DAY FOR HER!!!!! So proud.

5:47 pm. Castro VT- Strong FTY.

Griesser UB- She started before I could start typing but all good work. Stalder to stalder half to piked Jaeger is awesome. Double front with a small hop. Beautiful work from what I saw.

E. Lee BB- Front aerial, bhs loso, fell on something but I missed it. Hit side somi. 2.5 with a little skid.

Vidiaux FX- Opening was like a 1.5 to triple or something like that, was a little short and stumbled. Tucked full-in with a big step. Big double tuck.

5:43 pm. Some scores…

Germany VT- Alt 14.1, Schäfer 14.366, Scheder 13.966, Seitz 14.0, Tratz 14.066.

South Korea UB- Jeong 11.8, Kim 12.966, E. Lee 13.166, H. Lee 12.566, G. Lee 11.933.

5:40 pm. Martins FX- Tucked full-in right into the corner, almost goes OOB but holds it. 2.5 with a step. Basically a stuck double tuck.

Perez BB- Back tuck, full L turn, bhs loso, gives way too much power on that and there’s no way she can hold it. Falls. Punch front, side somi, side aerial, sissone to wolf jump, double tuck with a step.

5:36 pm. Jeong UB- Shaposh, pak with flexed feet. Ray to high, clear hip to blind change to big straddle Jaeger, clear hip half, giant full, sky high double pike but it gets no distance, almost lands on the bar.

Orrego FX- Bounced out of opening pass. 1.5 to front layout is great. Good double tuck to finish, just two small steps.

Colom BB- Side aerial is good. Clean leaps. Full Y turn. Switch half. Front aerial, double pike with a step. Great job for her so far today!

5:34 pm. McGregor BB- Long wait for her too. Excellent punch front mount. Wobble on front tuck but saves it. Ugh, off on flight series. 😦 Split leap to side aerial. Full Y turn. Switch leap, wolf jump to split jump, almost stuck her double tuck, just a tiny step back. Great chest position on that landing, really noticeable after so many low chests.

Phan FX- Triple to open is a little short. Hit full-in. Double full with a bounce back. Great double pike to finish.

5:33 pm. G. Lee UB- Maloney to pak, not bad. Van Leeuwen, toe on, Markelov is low but caught, clear hip, loses swing right after and has to kip cast. Right before her giants too. Double pike stumbled forward. Such a good start…

5:30 pm. Schäfer VT- Lovely handspring front layout half!! Awesome.

Dick BB- DICK MOUNT! Great. Double spin is great and gets applause, split to side aerial, side somi. Hit flight series. Switch side. Double full with a hop. Really nice work.

Kim UB- Maloney to pak, nice Gienger, double layout with a hop. Hit routine but form was really rough.

Castro FX- Hit opening pass. Great double full. 2.5 with a step. Big dramatic routine.

5:29 pm. Alt VT- Clean and solid FTY.

5:27 pm. H. Lee UB- Toe full (leg sep), Maloney to pak, messy van Leeuwen, these little ones are LOUD. Catches her body on the bar on her clear hip and pings off and yet still sticks a tuck dismount?!?!?! THAT WAS BLACK MAGIC. Dear LORD I thought she was basically dead.

Vidiaux BB- Big layout. Side aerial, misses foot on 2.5 but still busts it out and hits well.

5:26 pm. Tratz VT- Tsuk full with a hop back, good work.

5:25 pm. The announcers keep forgetting to turn their microphones off while they creepily breathe into them. It’s actually hilarious. A great soundtrack to the day.

5:22 pm. Seitz VT- Huge and clean FTY with great flare on the landing!

E. Lee UB- Toe on, blind change to piked Jaeger, toe full, Tkachev, bail to toe shoot, skid on dismount.

Gomez FX- Tucked full with a hop to start. Triple full with crossed ankles but a good landing. Good 2.5. Double back to finish has some steps back but a hit routine.

Larsson BB- Fell early on but I didn’t see the skill. Front aerial to wolf jump is good. Lovely Y turn. Hit dismount. Shame about the fall, she is great here normally!

Scheder VT- Clean FTY. Great work!

5:17 pm. Germany FX- Alt 13.666, Griesser 13.866, Schäfer 13.766, Scheder 12.966, Tratz 13.133.

South Korea VT- Jeong 13.466, Kim 13.6, H. Lee 13.8, Yun 13.8, G. Lee 0.000 for her crashed vault.

5:13 pm. Orrego BB- Nine hour wait for her. Technical difficulties again? Switch to wolf jump. Solid bhs loso, just with knees a little bent. Side somi. Big switch side. Front aerial to sissone. Check on a skill but saves it. 1.5 dismount. Good work considering her wait.

5:10 pm. Griesser FX- This routine is gorgeous but very arm wavey at the start. She’s a great performer though. Basically a stuck double tuck. Double attitude to double spin gets applause. 1.5 to front full with a step. This choreo section is KILLER. Right out of the Lieke Wevers book of fierce. SO GORGEOUS. Crowd loves her. 2.5 with a slight step. BEAAAAUUUUUTIFUL. HUUUUGE APPLAUSE.

Colom UB- Hit release at the start. Bhardwaj got some OOHs and applause. Toe full, Gienger looked far away but she got it. Toe half to front half, dismounts with double layout with a step.

5:08 pm. McGregor UB- toe full, toe on to Maloney to bail to toe shoot, toe half to front giant half to Gienger, caught. Toe half, nearly stuck full-in! And she did it in a dead quiet arena. Great work.

5:06 pm. Dick UB- Jaeger, pak, toe front half hit, good work.

Schäfer FX- Double layout, heel OOB. Crowd loved one of her spins. Hit whatever pass I just missed. Double pike nearly stuck.

Phan BB- Hit layout series. Check on her full turn but she gets it in control. Tour jete half, wobble. Side aerial. Double pike with a step.

5:05 pm. Jeong VT- Clean FTY, almost stuck but steps out at the last second.

5:02 pm. Castro BB- Front aerial, check. Bhs layout, piked but hit. Switch to sissone to split jump. Full turn. Off on side aerial. Hit dismount.

Alt FX- Love this routine. Kills the double layout!! Double tuck with a hop. 1.5 to front layout. Full-in to finish was great. Excellent work.

Vidiaux UB- Stalder full to huge Tkachev, Endo half to bail, super high but weirdly-twisted full-in dismount, little jolted on the landing.

5:01 pm. G. Lee VT- FTY, no height, crowd gasps when she comes off the table, crashes. She’s okay though.

Larsson UB- Hit routine including double pike with a step.

5:00 pm. Tratz FX- Piked full-in landed fully OOB. Good tucked full-in. Front full. Double tuck bounced back a little.

Gomez BB- great bhs tuck full! Hits jumps. Excellent so far, and finishes with a solid double tuck with a hop.

Yun VT- Clean FTY, little bouncy and not very powerful.

4:59 pm. Perez UB- Good Tkachev, pak, toe full, Maloney to Gienger, caught a little close, good double layout with a step.

4:58 pm. H. Lee VT- GORGEOUS stuck FTY! Big high five.

4:56 pm. Martins BB- Great bhs bhs loso and hit jumps. Switch to switch half, fall. Great 2.5 dismount.

Scheder FX- Double tuck with a little bounce. Double full with a step.

4:52 pm. South Korea’s highest floor score is a 12.666 for Lee Hyebeen. They really need Heo Seonmi and Eum Dayeon here.

4:50 pm. Germany’s beam scores are Alt 14.066, Schäfer 14.5, Scheder 12.3, Seitz 13.5, Tratz 11.2.

4:46 pm. Phan UB- Bail a bit missy, toe shoot, good double front, hit routine.

G. Lee FX- Missed first pass, second is a super messy twist into a front lay half. Double full. Double pike with a stumble back.

Seitz BB- Got applause on her mount. Punch front is solid. Bhs layout is piked but solid as well. Side somi. Front aerial, hands on the beam. Full turn with a wobble. I’m basically screaming from nerves. Switch to split to wolf. Gainer layout.

4:43 pm. McGregor VT- DTY, great power, just a little bent. Excellent job! Second is a tsuk full, a bit piked and with a step out.

Scheder BB- Off on bhs loso. UGHHHHHH. AND AGAIN ON SIDE SOMI. Full Y turn. Hit jumps. Gainer layout. Looks a bit unhappy.

Kim FX- Hit first pass. Think second was front double full to barani. Illusion turn was super botched, and then double full with foot OOB. Good double pike.

I missed Simona Castro’s bars. 😦

4:42 pm. Yun FX- 1.5 through to 2.5 OOB. Double pike a bit low.

Gomez UB- Hit routine, finished with full-in with a tiny hop.

4:41 pm. I keep missing vault but I believe Vidiaux hit and Dick just did a tucked FTY. Not good coming in with zero training I guess.

4:40 pm. Schäfer BB- Solid bhs loso, sounded like they were yelling DAVAI hahaha. Front aerial to side somi, wobble but holds it. Good double spin. Eponymous side somi half gets big applause! Full turn to side aerial, great. Big wolf jump to sissone. Perfectly stuck gainer off the end.

4:39 pm. Martins UB- Shpaosh to bail to toe full, Ray to high, great handstand before blind change to piked Jaeger, finishes with a pinged full-in, good landing.

4:38 pm. Lee FX- 2.5 to Barani, very floaty. Good triple! Nice set from her.

Sorry, forgot to write that Ana Perez had a solid vault before Larsson’s, I only saw the landing but she hit.

4:36 pm. Orrego UB- Maloney to bail to Ray, toe on, low Tkachev. Nearly stuck double layout!

Larsson VT- Great FTY!

Alt BB- Good side aerial loso, smart to take out the second loso. Full turn. Front aerial, pause, split to side somi. Looks like she balked a switch half but then hit it perfectly the second time. Double pike with a step! Germans are VERY happy.

4:35 pm. Colom VT- Decent enough FTY.

4:33 pm.Tratz BB- Bhs back tuck, nearly falls but saves it. Good fight. Nope, but then misses feet on side aerial and falls. Double tuck with a step back.

Jeong FX- Double tuck to start. Front full with a tiny hop. Double full. Double pike OOB.

4:30 pm. This subdivision will feature teams from Germany and South Korea as well as individuals from Spain, Sweden, Cuba, Trinidad & Tobago, New Zealand, Peru, Portugal, Guatemala, Chile, and Vietnam.
