Rebeca Andrade
So far in 2022, we’ve covered 143 meets, seeing a total of 4,456 all-around performances, as well as 5,931 vault scores, 6,117 bars scores, 6,238 beam scores, and 6,040 floor scores, in addition to 1,653 two-vault attempts that get averaged for an event final (or qualification into a final).
Below, find a list of the top all-around and event scores thus far, as well as the top D scores for each event. An asterisk (*) next to the name denotes a junior competitor, and I’ve removed bonus from all domestic meets to keep things as accurate as possible. As a note, we only include juniors in the two-vault averages or D-score combos if they’re competing vaults from two different families, and if a competition uses bonuses but their score sheets don’t differentiate those bonuses from the totals, we don’t include those scores in our database.
The most recent update is September 16, 2022.

Do we not know what Listunova’s AA difficulty is?
LikeLike
Officially, no. Russia doesn’t publish D scores so any that I’ve included here for various events were scores I was able to pull from the stream (mostly by looking in the background on the screen in the arena, which was shown for a tiny percentage of routines). For Listunova, I was only able to get her vault and bars scores from her AA performance. However, I got all four of her D scores from EFs – 5.0 VT, 6.3 UB, 5.4 BB, 5.6 FX – so using these, her AA would be 22.3, putting her 8th.
FYI, I only count actual AA competitions for the all-around lists – even if an athlete competes all four events in an EF at any meet, event finals are structured differently than an AA competition, usually in ways that benefit the athlete more than the structure of an AA competition does, giving them a chance to come in with higher difficulty on certain events than they’d compete in an AA format (mostly due to the amount of time between events…sometimes hours if they’re competing multiple events on the same day, and even more time if they’re competing two events one day and the other two the next, so athletes have the ability to go back to the warm-up gym after their first event and essentially start from scratch on their second, and then have a whole day of rest before their third event, whereas an AA comp is much faster-paced and athletes have to sit around between events/can’t train their next events in the back gym while waiting and they will often play it safe, meaning an EF “AA” score has potential to be a lot higher than a true AA score).
So officially, we don’t know what her actual AA difficulty combo was and that’s why she’s not included on the list, but unofficially, I’ll give her the 22.3 based on what she did in EFs!

Take most of the national scores with a grain of salt, but having watched most of these competitions, Andrade exceeds the rest of the pack by far in her form and consistency (and legit scoring potential).
The numbers here don’t show the depth of the issue, but if you watch the US routines, you’ll see they are shaping up to send difficult routines with low consistency and far lower execution. All of this USAG talk about a new focus on artistry is almost funny considering it has gotten worse.
US should count their blessings, because Russia not being able to compete in Worlds is the only thing keeping them from extreme embarrassment. The US will be lucky to walk away with as many medals as they did in 2021 Worlds from ‘the B team’ even without Russia this year.

Any chance or an update on this before Worlds?

It’s coming! I just finally got Italian nationals logged in my spreadsheet, and have to double check a couple of smaller meets that happened over the last week to make sure I don’t miss anything.
