    • From what I’ve seen on instagram Héduit is still training and the French fed is still playing stupid games and winning stupid prizes, but I wouldn’t blame her in the slightest if she’s decided to retire.

    • “No matter how heroically our gymnast Zsófia Kovács is fighting after her serious knee surgery, it is now definite that she will not compete at the European Championships in May. But she wants to be there at the Olympics.”https://www.borsonline.hu/sport/2024/02/kovacs-zsofi-olimpia-tornaAn ECH without them is as unfortunate as it is unimaginable (albeit predictable)…

      • PS, Interview last night: “…I want to perform a very good parallel bars routine, clean and up to my standards…”. — And since nobody needs to arrive at continental championships with a stretched somersault, the signs are not bad at all. If all goes well: imo with interesting, far-reaching consequences…

    • Now her body’s healing has priority and not the fans’ medal dreams. A torn cruciate ligament is not a broken fingernail and needs time. A lot of time. We’re seeing this right now with Elisabeth Seitz (GER), who had the same accident a good six months ago and will be without a chance in Paris (even if she still doesn’t seem to want to admit it). — All the best from Munich to Ondine, who we all fell in love with in 2022 —
