Omg! I’m so looking forwards to worlds this year, it will be awesome!! I think the chinese and japanese girls are also medal contenders!
So we have Eremina, Melnikova, Smith, McCusker, Teramoto, Tingting & Iordache in the AA mix… so exciting! 😀

Andrade, Murakami and Black should be in the mix as well

I love Iordache, but it’s just so depressing to see a 6! point gap between first and second place, illustrating just how completely screwed the Romanians are

Yes, thats really sad, im quite surprised by the improvement from Denisa, i thought she will never upgrade her bars:-))

Congratulations girls! So proud of Larisa. She is having a great competition so far, let’s hope she can repeat this at World Championships. Poor Catalina had some uncharacteristic mistakes and downgrades on floor, but I have faith that she will come back strong for tomorrow and Montreal.

Ponor seemed really out of sorts today. She didn’t seem to fight very hard to avoid the 2 falls on bb – especially the second fall where she just jumped off.

Oh goodness me!!!!!! No one except Larisa scored over a 13 on bars. Yikes!

Not to mention, no one broke 14.0 on beam except Lari (and that’s one of Romania’s strongest events), and only one other gymnast broke 14.0 on vault.

Larisa should be insulted how Catalina’s floor score was that close to hers. She was way over scored today on beam/floor

No, she’s only triumphed at European level.

At European championships, she never has gold at AA (but on floor and beam).
